Name: Galactica Minor
Gender: Female
Appearance: Galactica looks like a rather small, athletic young woman wearing some kind of corded black bodysuit or robotic body studded with armor plates from the neck down. Appearances can be deceiving, however, as this is both her actual body and technically organic. Her fleshy head is also somewhat deceptive, being no less armored than the rest of her. The violet pigtails are exactly what they look like, however, and go with her similarly colored eyes, though both are prone to changing color when she absorbs or releases particularly large amounts of foreign energy.
Background: Galactica Minor hails from the lush world of Pluto, eternally divided between light and dark. As a Centipede Caste Pitspawn, she fulfilled expectations of being hardy and cunning during endless battles against her dark brethren and those vile do-gooders from the shiny half of her world, and developed a particular reputation for teamwork and patience.
Galactica's major break, as well as her current name, came from her flawless performance in the Ruby Jungles during the War of the Spectral Crab. She suffered 13 consecutive defeats, cackling each time about how these fools' time would come, this was a minor setback, she planned this, and so forth, before completing her diabolical and overly complex plan to corrupt her enemies' power source and seize victory in one fell swoop. Her reign of terror during the resulting six month Victory Period was devastating to the local engineered flowerlings (joy was outlawed), until her time expired and she was swiftly defeated during the War of the Rising Orchid by foes that had learned to push their advantages and defeat her as quickly as possible.
The damage was done, however, as her stellar performance had attracted the attentions of Galactica Supreme, a high-ranking villainess looking for another lieutenant. Taking the name Galactica Minor and no longer confined to low-grade skirmishes, she began performing villainy in earnest, specializing in deranged experiments designed to push the limits of manipulating and absorbing exotic energies. The bane of engineered Shroomer and Cacton mayors and scientists throughout the Purple Wastes, her reputation as a glutton and schemer likely would have earned her a new name were it not for her boss understandably liking her current one.
Galactica Minor finally met her downfall at the hands of a risky ploy by her enemies, who had realized that leaving her to build up would undoubtedly end in something bad. They took a great risk letting her get a hold of an experimental generator, knowing her greed would compel her to make the best, most expensive use of it. During the very final countdown to covering the entirety of the Purple Wastes in an eternal shroud of darkness, these valiant heroes succeeded in turning her own power against her, thereby banishing her forever.
Not physically or anything, those are just the rules for a successful Amethyst Ankh Banish Action. "Forever" is also somewhat malleable, and officially she's wandering Sol seeking out the rare and precious components to let her return home, though like most Plutonian exiles she's somewhat more prone to spreading her brand of terror and/or justice throughout the system. By Plutonian standards she's a black-hearted villain of the highest order, while most other inhabitants regard her as a slightly mean, very theatrical jackass. Both agree she's patient, greedy, and a team player.
In addition to a reinforced body with good regenerative capabilities, Galactica possesses an unparalleled ability to absorb, focus, and alter energies. At its most basic, this lets her "eat" energy for later use, an ability she is prone to using without much regard for its wisdom (people who advise against eating energy fields any larger than your head sicken her). It also lets her focus and shoot out energy blasts and the like, overcharge herself with excess power, and apply interesting or exotic energy types to herself to gain interesting effects. It also lets her sense and in theory manipulate energies in other things, though in practice she usually doesn't have much use for either before slurping the contents out through a straw.
Class: Hardened/Thinker
I uh, hope I'm living up to the setting's bizarre aesthetic.
