I don't want her death. I just want that Data Guard.
Delicious, delicious security rating. Only reason I'm even jealous is cuz' I'm Hardened Tech-Head, too Not sure which is better for security, the separated systems or that(don't have too many augs that can really be hacked, though, atm, I suppose), or how much a Data Guard will cost when I get it. (And I will get it)

@Digithound: Btw, can I use my microcam to help me here? I need some information on it's capabilities.

You say it's a remote controlled drone, is it capable of autonomous movement? Can I toss it into the air and look around the room? Or is something you can just stick to a wall or whatever, and control the direction of it's vision?

You'll need to control its movements yourself - there's only so much brain you can fit in a thing that size. But yes, it does move. You can multitask and move it while doing something else, too, though I can't promise you won't get dangerously distracted doing so. The range isn't unlimited, either, but you can send it to Líle or the Remnant while remaining at a distance easily.

See, my idea being-I would think you could make up for a relatively 'stupid' AI, if you programmed it to work as many small minds do in nature. Like, you can have thousands of birds in a flock follow just the one leader, never wavering or falling off track. Their very lack of individualism and higher intelligence making them amazingly coordinated on relatively 'simple' tasks, like flying thousands miles to a very specific place. I think it might eventually work the same way with artificial intelligence-once they identify a problem, they all work to fix it-I mean, why design something like Medulla to oversee some routine and nearly mindless tasks like industrial fabrication, destroying all of humanity, or routine repair work?

It might be considered cruel to them, or at least a waste of money.
