Description: Human Form: A guy of average height, with auburn hair reaching down to his chin and hazel eyes. He's rather athletic-looking, if a little feminine in frame. He has dog ears poking out of his hair like tufts of hair.
Shisa Form: In Shisa form, his head is covered with a long, golden mane and his fur is a golden brown. His fangs are large, poking out of his mouth, and his body is warm and fluffy to the touch due to his fur. He can also breath fire in this form, and his barks are loud enough to cause internal injury when he desires them to.
Supernatural Type: Shisa, a supernatural lion-dog guardian from the Ryukyu islands.
Hobby/Hobbies: He loves music, especially drumming. He's also a fan of listening to a few bands and loves tokusatsu shows.
Name: Atsuko Yamasaki

Personality: Atsuko is generally quite an outgoing person, usually the one to start most conversations or friendships. She talks to almost everyone and generally has an upbeat, bubbly personality. She is confident in herself, though not egotistical, but sometimes she can forget about others when making decisions, and can be a bit controlling. She also has a compulsive habit of making flirtatious comments, or suggestive jokes to any of her friends, which usually leaves them flustered.
Description: She is a humanoid (ish) blob of purple slime, with definitely... female, characteristics, but the bottom half of her body is without legs usually, and she slides across the ground. She can form legs, but she only does so if necessary, and is most comfortable without them. She generally shifts her form to imitate different clothing, as any attempt to wear something fails. Her top half is somewhat well-endowed, probably because she controls the entirety of her form. She generally has an imitation of hair in a bun, or just let loose, and her eyes are a mesmerizing purple, much like most of her body.
Supernatural Type: A slime girl. Well, really, she's just an amorphous blob of slime, but she has a permanent form she keeps up with minimal effort, which she can edit slightly at her will. She cannot gain mass, however, or lose it. She can only move it around.
Hobby/Hobbies: Writing fanfics*, stargazing, drawing*.
*Note: She isn't particularly good at these things, but that doesn't stop her from showing everyone her products.
Name: Akemi Yamamoto
Sex: Female.
Age: 16/17.
Description: Despite having been raised in Japan, Akemi does not look Japanese, instead appearing Caucasian. Her hair is a shimmering, silvery-white colour and her eyes a lustrous gold. Two large, feathery wings extend from her back and a ring of light floats above her head. The wings are hard to hide, but the ring of light vanishes while she's wearing a hat.
Personality: Despite her angelic appearance (and, y'know, literally being an angel) Akemi is something of a delinquent: picking fights, relying on her natural ability to get her through school and skipping classes like her timetable is a hopscotch grid. As a person, she's much less unpleasant. Talkative, friendly and helpful, she's an all-round nice person, if a nice person with a hair-trigger temper and a mile-wide bragging streak.
Supernatural Type: The typical Western depiction of an angel: halo of light, white-feathered wings, et cetera, as described in the description.
Hobby/Hobbies: Fighting is less of a way to settle disputes for her and more of a way to have a bit of fun (although solving disputes tends to be a side-effect).
Loves to sing (and is good at it). Wants to start a band.

Personality: A cheery individual, Aimi can get along with virtually anyone that isn't annoyed or put off by her general laziness and habit of talking about quite morbid topics. She gets middling to poor grades in school; she isn't stupid, but she essentially only puts in the minimum effort required to pass. She does, however, enjoy sports, and does well in biology.
Description: A well-endowed girl somewhat on the tall side with pinkish-red hair and red eyes. She likes to dress in somewhat traditional-looking clothes, with a white dress beneath a colored vest of some kind being common.
Supernatural Type:

Personality: I guess I'm kind of meek. I mostly hang out with animals. I get nervous when I haven't checked on my animals in a couple of hours so I tend to take the smaller ones with me even though I know I shouldn't... I also enjoy cooking a little, and people say my meat dishes are amazing. I'm kind of lonely but I don't tend to seek out people because I feel like I'm all weird and I'd just be a burden... But yeah. I guess that's it.
Description: Uh, I'm pretty big, like... over six foot tall. Not to such a degree that it affects me but I tend to stand out in a crowd. My hair is kind of a woody brown and my eyes are green... Uh, I've got a good tan from working in the sun a lot. I wear an enchanted jacket to cover up my more inhuman features like the claws and monstrous canines so it just looks like my canines are somewhat pronounced and I have kind of sharp nails. Uh, I guess I'm pretty strong looking? But in a beefy way instead of a lithe way... I think people here call it being 'Bara'?
Supernatural Type: Generic Nature Spirit of some kind, most likely involving something to do with tending animals.
Hobby/Hobbies: Working with animals and cooking.
Name: Wakana Hinode (technically, just Hinode-Gakusha)

Age: Technically less than a year old -- but in behavior and appearance, 16.
Personality: Wakana is a bright girl, and ambitious (fitting enough for a kami of the Sunrise Academy), with a natural inclination for academics and the like. She's also a cheerful girl, not overly energetic but steadily optimistic and pleasant -- and being quite good at string instruments adds a bit to that charisma. She does, however, have her head in the clouds quite frequently, caught up in music or in imagining a big lofty goal for herself or daydreaming; they're all possibilities with Wakana.
Description: Standing half the time and floating gently the other half of the time, Wakana looks mostly humanoid, though she can make herself emit light and other things should she so wish. She looks like a human of 5'6" with all of that aside, looking Japanese with the exception of her hair, a ponytail which goes from orange at the front to blue at the back -- the colors of a sunrise. Her eyes are a yellow color, and her skin is somewhat pale in tone. She seems to always wear the uniform of the school, despite never actually having been fitted for one -- it's a magical thing.
Supernatural Type: Kami, Japanese animist/Shinto spirits, come in many form -- major gods and goddesses, minor gods and goddesses, and the many spirits of ancestors and heroes and places and things and nature, etcetera. Sometimes, as mentioned, important or sacred places will get a Kami of their own... and that's what Hinode-Gakusha (Wakana is a name of her own creation) is. She seems to be naturally good at scholastics and what Sunrise teaches, and popped into existence up to the academy's level -- probably related to her nature, and she has a few other nebulously defined minor powers that arise when they would be appropriate for a spirit,, like slight levitation and making herself glow.
Hobby/Hobbies: Music, especially string instruments.
She isn't technically a student, having come into existence a short time ago, but she is both a fantastic omen and able to keep up, so the staff and teachers just let her go along with it.
Name: Kotone Nori, though she also chose the name Iolanthe for herself.

Personality: Kotone tends to focus very hard on her various physical activities and gives little thought to other things, up to and including the feelings of other people, coming off as aloof and cold. If you can manage to assert yourself to be just as important as sports, Kotone is very upbeat (and excessively envious if you can manage to beat her at something she'll agree to play).
Description: Kotone is about the average height in Japan, though her lavender eyes and lilac hair are startlingly disparate. On the rare occasions her teeth are showing, she has long, curved fangs in the front of her mouth. Kotone is very toned from various athletic activities and, coupled with her attractive figure and arguably good-looking face, is very easy on the eyes.
Upon removing an amethyst ring from her right hand, Kotone reverts to her base form; she looks remarkably the same, though everything below her belly button is replaced with a long, thick, purple serpent's tail. She is remarkably more likely to bite you in this form.
Supernatural Type: Lamia, from Greece. Her great-great-grandfather immigrated to Japan years and years ago, but nobody in the family knows exactly why. They took to life in the country in stride, with Kotone's grandmother being indistinguishable from human natives, although every member of the family is allowed to decide their own Greek name when they are twelve, to remind them of their roots.

Name: Osamu Neko

Age: 17
Personality: Osamu likes to imagine himself as cunning and devious. In reality he's rather lazy and full of himself, being more fond of lying about and doing nothing all day instead of causing mischief. As such he's far more agreeable and helpful than he pretends to be, perhaps as a result of his relatively old age.
Description: As a shapeshifter, Osamu is capable of taking on any form that they want to. Given their laziness, they can usually be seen in two different forms.
Cat Form: Osamu's original form is that of a cat. They are one of the fluffiest cats in existance, with long, white, silky hairs that just beg to be petted. If he wanted to be a lapcat he would definitely take up your entire lap, for Osamu is rather large (and chubby) for a feline. The only hint of his supernaturalness in this form is his long, forked tail. Unless he speaks, of course, for he is more than capable of saying human words as a cat.
Human Form: Seeing as Osamu is part of the school, he obviously needs a human form to interact with everyone else and complete his studies. In contrast to him being a fat cat, as a human he is quite lean and tall, and almost as soft as his cat form. His skin is pale and his white hair is cut short. Osamu's face has fine, delicate features that make him look more adorable than intimidating, perhaps because he's used to getting plenty of attention as a cute cat. His eyes are a piercing blue, though they are usually tempered with a smile or similar gesture. He still has a forked cat tail in this form, along with whatever cat features he was too lazy to change at the moment, which he usually hides in his clothes if he gets the chance. Since his tail is the source of his power he can't alter it after all.
Supernatural Type: Bakeneko. A cat which has lived long enough becomes a youkai, gaining various supernatural powers thanks to their old age. Obviously Osamu knows how to shapeshift, though he doesn't enjoy performing any complex transformations. He can also charm weak-willed humans and perform basic necromancy, as well as some various minor magic that he has picked up in his long life. For sanity's sake, when he transforms he can make up clothes for himself as well.
Hobby/Hobbies: Lazing about. Eating. Being pampered. If pressed, he'll admit that he likes dancing and gymnastics as well.
Name: Honoka Kiragi

Personality: A girl who very obviously tries not to cause trouble, but sometimes by their nature ends up involved in things anyway. She’ll rarely be the one to start a rude or mean trick, but is easy to convince to join in. Apart from that facet, she tries to be a nice person, although she will remember insults.
Description: Taller than the average Japanese girl, at 5’6”. She has black hair and green eyes, and is rather attractive. She generally wears bright colors, especially reds and blues.
Supernatural Type: Fae. A “Changeling” specifically: as an infant, she was swapped with a human child. She started developing fae-like attributes (at least ones she noticed) at age 10.
Hobby/Hobbies: Videogames, painting, the occasional prank participation.
Name: Kuí Yángwū (陽烏葵 or 阳乌葵, expect Japanese to misspell/misread.)

Personality: Almost always polite, dutiful and helpful, sometimes to the point of being condescending. She simply can't stand watching someone being clueless about something. Quite pampered, but does her best to understand those who weren't born with a silver spoon. Proud of her family, but consciously tries to stay humble, reflecting in, for example, honorific choices in speech. When angry or otherwise excited, her politeness might slip, revealing the fiery glory of the Sun, warm yet merciless. She has an irrational fear of archers and their bows, but can overcome it if she truly needs to.
Description: A red-haired, lithe girl who always walks with a cane made from mulberry wood when not in an emergency or playing football, despite not having any obvious injury. She has a large, beak-like nose. She complements her school uniform with numerous red ribbons, giving the appearance of feathers and a tail. Perhaps most strikingly, she wears a blindfold to "stop her from eating grass", whatever that means. Though she seems to see just fine through it, she occasionally takes little peeks, revealing golden, fiery yet tranquil eyes. When flight is necessary, from between her shoulder blades sprout two flaming wings adorned with red feathers.
Supernatural Type: Sānzúwū, though the Japanese call it Yatagarasu. The Koreans, Samjok-o. 'Golden crow' and 'sun crow' are acceptable English interpretations. A three-legged, red-feathered corvid who travels around the world in the heavens every day, giving mortals a guiding light. A symbol of the Sun.

Personality: Very antisocial and fiercely independent, with a clear sadistic streak. However, when she does make friends (or rather, friends attract her to them), she is incredibly loyal to them, and will use any means necessary to protect them.
Description: Long, silky black hair, with intense, deep brown (almost black) eyes. She is rather tall for her age, with a rather curvy figure and a large chest. Her normal onymoji wear consists of semi-translucent black and golden leotards and robes, carrying ofuda around.
Supernatural Type: Human, but a wizard. Specifically, an onmyoji.
Hobby/Hobbies: She often attempts to predict the future, in order to practice onmyodo. She also tends to read old spellbooks.

Description: A girl about 5’2”, with blonde hair hanging loosely down to her shoulders. Her features are most definitely foreign (slavic, specifically), but not unattractive. She generally wears comfortable and practical clothing. She most definitely does not have a maid outfit hidden under her bed.

Description: Pink. Bright, glittery pink everywhere. Her clothes, her hair, her eyes; everything about Yoko is pink. She has quite a clean and boyish haircut, and typical fairy-clothes. She also has butterfly wings. About as large as a small child, but a magic pendant (also pink) allows her to grow to human size.

He also has an... interesting hairstyle, consisting of many large, separate strands of purple hair all sticking out and defying gravity.

Hobby/Hobbies: Magic and things similar to it. He farms, but dislikes it a lot despite being really, really good at it.

Description: Physically, he looks completely bland except that his spiky brown hair seems to have a single strand sticking out that he can't seem to comb down. He usually wears green clothes, rather standard for leprechauns. Just without the hat.

Personality: Believes himself to be the greatest monster in this school, and in every other school, and in many other places that aren't school. Usually flaunts his prestigious heritage.
Description: Imagine a big, scary demon. Now turn him into a scrawny teenager version of himself. Now give him spiky black hair. Now put him in a suit. That's what Fukuyama looks like.
Supernatural Type: Firstborn child of Vice President of Hell, Furubasu Arakawa, descendant of the great President Foras who commanded twenty-nine legions of demons in his youth and was at that time featured in the Ars Goetia, you plebian filth.
