So this turns out to be more like The Cult- an RPG about people with crazy goal. But leading a cult is of course still a very important goal, but now not the most important goal.

At this point, my guy's main motivation is finding the quickest path towards a life of ease and decadence.  However you want to manoeuvre my character to work with all the character's, I'll probably find a way to make his goals align.

You could always become a expy of the ancestor from darkest dungeon.

Eventually ( according to the brief synopsis of the game I just googled ).  I'm fully expecting my guy having to make darker and darker choices in order to keep his power and wealth, and then we can really get the ball rolling.
