Anna smiles wryly.  This was one of the best days of her life, and she still had a breakdown in the middle of it.  But, well.  Humor helps with coping.

[SOLDIER First]

Kimiko raises her eyebrows for about half a second.

"It's not always easy."

"It's not, is it."

Anna sighs.  Again, the sigh of someone with deep personal experience on the subject.

[SOLDIER First]

"No."

[TheBiggerFish]

"Sometimes I find myself wishing it was easier to be happy, but...It'd...Feel wrong, I guess."

[SOLDIER First]

"What do you mean? It is never wrong to want to be happy."

[TheBiggerFish]

"But...Trivializing the effort required would be.

Believe me.  I want to be happy.  Not being happy is a terrible experience...But, I want it to come for a good reason.  Not some... Banal triviality."

[SOLDIER First]

"I see."

[TheBiggerFish]

"..."

Anna slumps in her seat.

[Chevaleresse]

Hinata abruptly twists in her seat and hugs Anna before returning to nonchalantly sipping her tea.

Anna is...Surprisingly comforted by this gesture.

"Thanks..."

Miki is busy digging into her food voraciously.

Anna seems to have finished hers.  She checks the time.

"See? Hugs are great!" Hinata glances at Kimiko as she says this. It doesn't last long though, as she lets out a jaw-cracking yawn. "Wow, that was way more tiring than it felt while we were doing it..."

[SOLDIER First]

"What was?"
