Well, nothing happens this time. They reach the nurse's office without incident.

"In case you haven't noticed I _{am not exactly unequivocally popular.}

Oh, we're here."

Anna darts inside.

"Um, hi..."

Yua's face, on the other hand, doesn't betray anything at all, her poker face practiced to an absurd degree. Reaching into her jacket to pull out a small box, she opens it to reveal a set of chips, and divides them between the two of them, giving each of them around an imaginary thousand dollar's worth. "They're not stakes, but it isn't poker without raising and calling. I raise by 200." And the chips are pushed to the center.

The school nurse is present. A kind old lady, almost a stereotype honestly, most of the student body likes her. "Hello, Anna. Here for your medicine?"

"Yeah.  Thanks."

Anna moves quickly to take it, put it away, and get over to the lunchroom.

Kyle scratches his neck. He should probably do something other than what he should do but it's not like there's any actual money in it. So, he calls.

The nurse hands it off.

The group of Hinata, Anna, and Miki presumably heads to the cafeteria. The lines aren't as full as one would expect, as several students are crowding around the windows.

Anna seems perfectly happy to keep her head down, insofar as a 6'0" girl can keep her head down when all the other students and probably the teachers are shorter than her, and not pay attention to the windows, though, if anyone mentions them, she immediately starts looking.

Once Kyle, the dealer, puts out the first card, Yua of course doesn't react but Kyle can see that this card isn't of any use to him with the hand he was dealt. Yua eats the chunk of rice she had suspended.

Kyle shakes his shoulders out, making sure that his cards can't be seen still, and adds 100 to the pot before adding the next card. Which brings him up to a pair of twos.

Yua ups the ante even further by raising to 100 above that -- she already has a pair of Jacks, and were she to land a 6 that would give her the two pair.

"What's going on over there?" Hinata idly reaches a hand into her bag and withdraws a. . . fully sized chocolate bar and takes a bite as she tries to find a place to see through the windows. Unfortunately, she's, well, four foot six.
