Kyle goes to the window, but can’t find a way to open it. He sees an ID card on the floor though, belonging to one “Hotaru Nagisa”. The lack of success does not matter, however, due to what’s happening at the entrance.

Anna tries the door, and finds that it is locked. Which is odd, because the doors are never locked during the school day. Then the distorted laughter from before is heard. Except this time, it’s much closer. Nobody ever looks up, do they?

They have just enough time to jump out of the way, as something falls right in front of the door. They… can’t actually tell what it looks like. Even trying to look at it sickens them; it looks wrong. It shouldn’t be a thing. It’s appearance is wrong, it’s sounds are wrong, everything about it just shouldn’t exist.

And it’s looking at them.

Victor, Anna, and Yua really have no control over themselves as they sprint away from the hall, trying to get away from the disgusting thing. They scatter as they do this, unable to control themselves. Victor might need a change of pants later too.

Miki, Hinata, and Kyle, while more than likely about to follow Victor’s example in that department, stand their ground for the moment.

They get the distinct sense it is unwise to remain here.

Anna runs, terror giving swiftness as she flees Things That Should Not Be, the only sound her feet and her breath.

Victor can't even find the strength to speak. Or to breathe. Or to control himself.

"Wh-wh-what is that?!?" She starts backing away quickly. "Guys, we need to stick together! Follow me!" Hinata runs and starts to duck around a corner, trying to follow where Anna ran.

Kyle looks, swears, and then starts running after Victor, knocking over anything he possibly can provided there's no one following him except the thing. He's going to have to note to the others that he most definitely warned them about the door if they make it out alive.

Miki sprints behind Hinata.

Yua has already been running away, covering her eyes and cursing multiple times under her breath.

The party scatters, the laughter echoing behind them. It's following Miki and Hinata, but at a slow pace. But never so slow as to be inaudible. It's playing with them. But...

Everyone else can hear something similar.

Just as the various teens stop to take a breath, with the sound distant- Was the school really this big?- they hear a voice. "Excuse me? You can hear me, right?"

Turning around shows that the voice comes from a small creature. It almost look like a lion cub, with a few differences: Green fur, solid blue eyes, and wings on it's back. It gives off an odd feeling, but not the same as the monster from before.

"Yes, what is it, I'm currently running away from a Thing That Should Not Be that is probably trying to kill me so unless you have a solution can I keep running thanks."
