Some time has passed, and the tone signaling ten minutes to the next class is heard. Time to get moving.

"I gotta get to class. Byyyyyeeee, Anna-chan, byyyye Miki-chan!" Hinata takes off in a hurry after placing a sucker in her mouth, weaving through the crowd with startling alacrity.

Anna, after a period of frozen shock, literally starts running to class as well.

Victor is already in class, looking out a window to the side.

Yua shrugs. "Well. That will interrupt what I had planned. Hmm." And she headed to class.

Kyle is still out and about as there's nearly ten minutes left. In about five minutes he'll head off though.

Miki waves and also runs through the crowd with amazing speed, managing to weave through with the grace of a drunk hippo and the speed of a cheetah on amphetamines.

The students have at this point for the most part returned to class. Lessons begin again, although students still whisper about the police presence.


It's the end of the school day, although clubs haven't started yet. By coincidence, Hinata, Anna, Miki, Kyle, Victor, and Yua share their last period. As the rest of the students leave, the teacher stops them.

"Excuse me, but would it be too much trouble to ask you all to go to the gym? The Chess Club is using this room today and the boards are in the gym."

Hinata looks about at Miki and Anna before replying with a cheery "OK! Let's go guys!"

"Don't see why not.

Let us go, then."

Kyle shrugs.
"I mean, I had to go there anyways since I'm in the Kendo club."

"Sweeeeet. Let's go on an adventure, everyone!"

The teacher looks very confused about calling going to the gym to grab some chess boards an "adventure", but does not question it.
