Crunchtime: I am now reviewing all applications. Any ones I like will be put on a shortlist then chosen from. Then I will open the waitlist with priority going to those who were shortlisted. It will be slow as I have a truckload of assignments and homework to do (Who gives students an essay last thing Friday afternoon to be done by first thing Monday morning? My English teacher)


IamanElfCollaborator (AKA your CamelCaseIsBroken): Shortlisted. However, the 12th was formed a full year after the 25th, as the last of the 'old' 12th was transferred over to a new unit. Please modify background accordingly.

Dwarmin: I'm a little reluctant to allow this one. I don't particularly find the rich roleplayed very well very often. If you can persuade me otherwise, then sure.

Is it acceptable to have two of the same weapons if the slots allow?
Yes, except it's really just calculated as a single multishot(2) weapon.

Ah, so if they can be fired together then they're superior to the two-slot weapons.

I'm going to say that firing two identical weapons: the second one has HALF the chance to hit after everything is factored in.

Well, I feel the need to allay your fears, even if I do have some support. I would note my character is fairly one-dimensional just as described-I don't go into his motivations in any depth, his fears or his desires. Mostly because I don't really like padding my character before the game already starts.

I'm guessing you're worried I'm take too much power-essentially making a 'perfect' character, who has no flaws and wields control over the other players, super rich and super handsome and super super super. That was not my intention. He's not a superman, and I had no intention to play him that way.

I'll try and put in some more information that you get from reading between the lines. I really do try to put thought into all my characters!

Tldr, I'm making a rich guy, but calling him a 'rich guy' is antithetical to his entire character. His entire character arc is, in fact, trying to prove that he's more than just a 'rich guy'. That he has depth and personality, that he's a real person-not just a shallow caricature they paint him as in the rumor-rags, and indeed most of his family and friends probably see him as.

Ironically, that's the same thing I'm trying to do as a player in your game. :P
