I've changed a tiny bit of the combat mechanics. I split turns into two phases. Movement and action. When one side has a movement phase, the other has an action page. Actions are resolved before movement. Like Tom Clancy's Endwar. That's all, the base stats are the same.

So it goes: Player Movement -> Enemy Action -> Player Action -> Enemy Movement? Or what?

Hey is there any type of Mech that specializes in sniper fire? Or do I have to do the Artillery Mech?

If the arm weapons are stronger than the front weapons, then the D mechs are just straight out superior to the A mechs. Is there any reason to take the A-mechs over the D-mechs? As is, it kind of seems like there really is nothing that the A-Mech can do better than the D.

Let's see if I can remember lessons from the past. :P

I recall it's balanced if you take ‘Scythe’ Kinetic Missile-it's increased range, being quite significant, is really the only reason you'd want to take the D over the A. 

The Fixed heavy gun at least does the most single strike damage at more than decent acc, though it's range is extremely restricting. It'll be more useful if you're expecting a mech-knife-fight.

The dual spear battery is the only obvious loser-it could use a slight buff, since it's only equal to the mace-but, since the D loses armor and evasion, it's not a good trade off.

Honestly? After crunching the numbers, the Dual Spear Batteries were some of the best weapons in the game. So long as you landed both of the shots that is. They did good damage regardless of how well armoured the enemy was. Everything else was more or less true, which is why I've buffed up the Front Weapons so much. And nerfed the Repeater, because goddamn was it a good gun.

Alright, I was just assuming 50/50 odds on most shots

If you built a lot of accuracy into your pilot, then it would be likely be a strong pick.
