Thank you. I never really get the idea how to build and do stuff in Civcraft.
I played Civilization craft since it was more easily understood i guess, but i think i take another try on this one.

Admins are currently ironing out shit and making last minute preparations for the server, hopefully it will be up in a short amount of time.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

They're nearly as bad as badgers. Build a couple of anti-buzzard SAM sites marksdwarf towers and your fortress will look like Baghdad in 2003 from all the aerial bolt spam. You waste a lot of ammo and everything is covered in unslightly exploded buzzard bits and broken bolts.

As far as I can tell the maps have been basically done for a while, or at least they had just been finished, except people were complaining that the hand painted maps had no caves or interesting underground like vanilla, so they designed a plugin that could crawl through the already created maps to make caves.
They waited untill launch day to do cave generation, it took longer than thought and even corrupted some of the maps.
I'll still be bitching about the underground btw, I'm a fan of vanilla caves, though the caves you get from converting dwarf fortress maps are more amazing.

Dorven Realms.  It's embedded in his sig also, so you don't strictly need to remember.

Really wish a vanilla or civcraft server would be set up using it.  I'd have tried to run one on my linux computer, but then a storm fried my old router and the new router isn't being recognized for reasons I cannot determine (admittedly, the server may not have been that good.  Computer in question is a 3.0 dual core, 1 Gb VRam, 4 Gb Ram).
