Being a god, you wield unlimited powers of creation! Or you would, anyway, were it not for certain agreements made or more powerful gods in your vicinity. Rather conveniently your power can be parceled out in little bits, called points of divine power. You have 12-17 to start with. You gain more by:
- being admired (by gods),
- being worshiped (by mortals),
- being paid (by gods).
These points can be spent on enacting changes (1 point per change), regaining Integrity (2 points per point of Integrity) or paying other gods to do work for you (1-10 points per service, depending on location, time frame, expected quality and other specifics). All supernatural acts of creation require a d6 roll, but you can also use divine power on lesser tasks (ones that you could do with a roll and no divine power required) to ensure success.
As a god, you also have needs. These crop up every 6 turns in the Maintenance Round, where you pack it in for some good times in your plane and recharge your godly batteries.
- Your communication needs are taken care of by the Aetherpane, which lets you look into the aether, speak to other gods without going to their planes and check out their public postings. This needs to be kept working.
- Your energy needs are taken care of by the Reliquary, where you keep interesting things you intend to consume to refresh your divinity. This needs to be kept stocked with things you find, "borrow" or purchase. Your own creations are unsuitable for this.
- Your brooding needs are taken care of by the Throne. This is a very personal artifact usually kept in a separate planar compartment so as to minimize disturbance. This needs to be kept spotless.
You can ignore one of these needs for one Maintenance Round, but if that same need isn't met the next round, you lose 1 Integrity. If at any maintenance round you cannot meet 2 or more needs, you lose 1 Integrity.
As for actions, lesser mortals are known for their inability to perform more than one action without vastly diminished quality of performance. As a god, you can do three at a time even when physically improbable. Or sacrifice one of your actions for a +1 on the roll of another, or both to have a +2 for one action. Rather importantly, you as a god find no difficulty in ordering others around, and thus hiring help or bossing around mortals does not cost an action (though it may involve a roll).
