dwarves are cowards

normally i would understand if a dwarf is afraid of a cougar but here's a situation where the cougar is 2 z-levels (and still about 20 tiles away) above the dwarf on a hill with no slopes so there's no way for the cougar to attack, you'd figure the dwarf would be laughing...

anyway i couldn't send anyone to build ramps up the hill so that my marksman could kill it so i just used the Heal utility with the -hurt on the cougar so that it effectively killed it

My broker once ran away from a trade depot because macaques got too close...and the depot was guarded by the merchant swordmen too...

dwarves have an odd sense of bravery. They'll run away from a racoon but peasants and nobles alike will charge blindly into a vast army of goblins to pickup some soiled piece of clothing. Idiots.
