This is a game where you will fight against an opposing army in brutal WW1 style trench warfare. You will choose a weapon. Any real weapon used by any real military between the years of 1864 and 1975.

All technology, with the exception of the handheld weaponry, is the same as it was in WWI.

You are allowed four weapons, not including your melee.

Each person gets four reloads worth of ammo for their chosen starting gun. Reloading gives you a fresh mag, but if you still had bullets in your old clipazine/tube/whatever, then they are gone with that Clipazine. Everyone has a bayonet/ combat knife of their era, unless a melee weapon is specified by the poster.

I will not do stats and instead do a regular d20 roll for everything, unless special conditions are met.

You can go as silly as you want. Having a soldier from the American Civil War (1861-1865) with an AK 47 (1947), to a Vietnam-Era (1955-1975) Russian soldier with a German Panzerfaust (1943).

The Dead:

I like your enthusiasm, soldier.

This will be a high mortality game. Your first character may not survive the first wave. I'd there are a lack of people in the waitlist, I'll have you make a new character and put them in the rotation.

Take out the M72 and you're good.

Actually it's the prototype version of the M202, but the LAW wiki page is the one that has the info on the special warheads I mentioned, which are loaded with CS gas (tear gas) rounds rather than M235 Incendiary rockets. I figured that non-lethal gas would be fair game and kind of fitting for a WW1 environment.

True. But, when I said take it out, I meant to remove it completely. Not change the name or weapon model. In the CS from the OP, I said to not give yourself a rocket launcher. If you want one, I may put one in on the ground or in a foxhole, but not in an original loadout. That being said however, you can change it to regular tear gas grenades.

For everyone else, the limit for the number of weapons is 4, not including your melee.

Except I didn't edit my post. :v You said take out the M72, I didn't ask for an M72, I wanted the XM191, which is a different weapon. It's not a variant of the M72.

I'm happy with changing them to CS grenades.

Sorry, I thought you did. Hm. You still should have given me the link to the weapon's wiki page instead of giving me a wiki link to the M72. You could have just said that it shot tear gas.

If you just simplified it, I would have done a coin flip for whether or not to allow it.

There's no page for the XM191 and I didn't think you would believe me if I told you that a weapon that looked like the M202 shot tear gas, so I linked the only wikipedia page that detailed the XM96 RCR tear gas warheads. I assumed you would have ctrl+f searched the page. I would have thought that the simplest way to do things would be to link directly to the pertinent information.

Fair enough.

After we get a few more players, I'll figure the relative damage of each weapon and other auxiliary effects of such. I will post damages and effects in the OP, along with the possible waitlist and meat shields soldiers.

Tomorrow, if no one else has joined, I'll lower the player limit to four.

I'll let you keep the launcher for now. Because nonlethal.

Anyhow, There's new info in the OP.

I'm kind of surprised that the Kropatschek is said to have a 2.2km effective range when it apparently is only equipped with iron sights. That would be a very impressive shot to make without a magnification scope when your shot's flight time is on the order of 3.6 seconds. I think that's a mistake on Wikipedia's part. I would think it should read that that is the maximum range. Usually you can only expect to hit something consistently with iron sights at something like 500m.
