Amidst the chaos of the hall, Devaro followed Scarlet. He is jogging, casually asking her the following :

((I think it's best we just move on and don't bother to roll for a minor action that's primarily to solve a plothole. I did mark 'rations' in my inventory, though, and this is a flashback, so that makes for an excuse.))
