Felix silently and patiently waits at the end of the long line, letting anyone who a appears interested go ahead of him.

I had considered a hunger strike to keep myself from working for these degenerates, but I must keep my energy up if I am to escape. Eating last seems like a healthy compromise...at least it acts as a symbolic gesture against them. It isn't much, but what else am I supposed to do? Look for small victories where I can, even if they don't make sense. How did I get in this mess anyway?

((Well then, since everyone has magically bypassed the thing I had set up on the WAY there...))

  Everyone's meals are interrupted and the TV screens, originally meant for recreation during mealtimes, changes to a live feed of the ship, according to it, a long range laser blast has completely obliterated the 12th Bay (Owned by a bunch of former salt miners whose job is mostly to manage shipping manifests) and everything surrounding it.  Needless to say, one could deduce from that, and the shouts of the captain over intercom, and maybe, just maybe from the wailing of alarms that the Red Vessel is under attack.

  Your knowledge of the ship gives you several options, you could try to help, not likely considering this is the chance you have been waiting for, you could steal a ship right now and go, avoiding risk of detection and avoiding the chance that you will be wiped out in a laser blast very effectively, you could attempt to raid one or several areas of the ship, then steal a ship and go, risking detection, a fight, and death via Laser Cannon, for the valuables aboard the Red Vessel.

  Knowing the ship well from forced service, you know that the Captain and much of the crew will be out of the Bays and Mess Halls, the Armory might cause trouble if they suspect you of taking the weapons for reasons OTHER than preparing for combat, and the 0th Bay will be FULL of crewmen.  This is all you can deduce from what you know.

"I'm getting out of here, I don't know about you." Scarlet runs off toward the hangar bays, leaving the remainder of her meal unattended except for a bit hastily stuffed into her mouth. She doesn't need weapons, so she bypasses the armory entirely, or at least attempts to.

Robert, likewise, finishes his meal. He'd already missed them the last two days, after all. He wasn't gonna miss a third, chance of escape or no.

Kyle gets up and bags his weapon. Then he grabs the rest of Scarlet's meal and runs off to steal as much food as possible.

Mavare gets up, politely wipes his face with a napkin, and cracks his knuckles. "Morning exercise." He runs off. Wise men know to avoid him. The foolish get knocked over by his immense weight.

Harry's interest is piqued.

"Oh?"

Sirius acts like she had never explained this before, even though in a non-anime world she would most likely have done so long ago.

"It's a detonator for my Divi-"

Her explanation is interrupted by the alarms. She squirts the rest of the nutripaste tube into her mouth, swallows and stands up, ready for action. She grabs the detonator and clips it back onto her belt.

"Looks like boring times are over. Could also be Shanghaied times over."

Sirius takes a shortcut to catch up with Scarlet and run next to her.

"Plans?"

She glances at Sirius, somewhat surprised, but quickly gets over this. "Find a ship and get the hell out."

"Okay, so you figured it out. Not that I was actually hiding it. What about it?"

Before Scarlet left, Devaro apologized profusely for his burst of emotion.
