Alright, so everyone is very carefully trying to edge away from / around the giant murderbird. it's caws are getting less liquid with each passing second.

Mongo and Korvahs get about halfway along the cavern wall, and Varion gets to teh edge of the doorway when it happens. The bird goes still, tilts it's head, and launches with blinding speed. It knocks Varion and Samuel over as it darts past, and lunges beak first right through Corvo's heart. Almost. Corvo manages to blink just in time, but not far. The deathbird lunges at him repeatedly as Corvo blinks rapidly, trying to get away, but only managing to stay just ahead of the monster's beak. This battle clogs the hallway back to the tower basement. And, unfortunately, the two birds somehow get turned around, so that mudercrow is facing back down the hall toward you guys.

flying spell, no. the one where you sort of get washed downstream, sure. Just remember, it isn't a controlled thing.

I might be able to get into its mind long enough for one of you to attack it but then I'll loose focus on it, though that would be perfect for one of us to get it with a torch or a stab..water boy, you'll be helping

Teh murderbird moved you out of it's way already. With prejudice. Anyway, you help Samuel up along with the others, cut of a couple unbug limbs for good measure, and head back to the basement, stepping over a now comatose murderbug on the way.

You haul Samuel onto your back, with Varion's rather uncharacteristic assistance, and watch as the murderbird falls on it's side, gasping and twitching. You follow Mongo over the bird and up the stairs.

You lead the party over the still form of the dark monster, and head up to the tower.

"So, how are we gonna get out?"
"Maybe try knocking?"
"That's stupid. that won't work."
