((I made a fire but it's fine if the other guy took it.))
"Sure."
I try to remove the water.
the water continues to descend at the pace it was going already. Steam rises from the surface ofthe water, taking the shape of dead spiders, and chittering at you. You wave them away, ignoring them.
Who ever has the light Follow me close. Need to be able to see where I'm going.
Advance only as far as being up to my waist in the water
the water is dropping slowly, and is about waist high. The room you all are standing in is about half the size of the room above. there are three doors on either side, and one door in the front, leading back tward the castle proper, and toward the mountain. You hear no sounds from this room. Three of the doors on the sides are wide open. One of the other doors is clogged with what looks like dead branches, which trace out along the ceiling and walls, and probably along the floor as well. Watch your step. teh other two side doors are closed, and the door to the back is wide open, having been torn off it's hinges and thrust aside.
I beleive I got the torch so I could burn away the webs. Webs (I tested this on cobwebs) burn fast and hot and produce quite a bit of smoke so my hope was that I could ignite some of the wood scraps and chuck them farther down so that the webs burn and the smoke draws the spiders out where we can ambush them. Though now that the place is flooded I think we will not have as big of an issue as before.
Either way advance in center of group stabbing those that come close relying on the rest of my team tonsupport me and kill those who get past me.
you prepare for battle, making little "hiya!" sounds as you stab the air around you, just in case.
