That went well
Loot looking for weapons and armour
the two rooms above are pretty bare. there are a couple tables and chairs and an empty wardrobe. no luck on the loot today.
Not that sword...wait we're talking about the stabbing sword I was given right? meh. if my "Swords" that deadly oh well...also try to make the spiders deal with their worst memories ever.
Well, the spiders all recently died horribly to a bunch of bipedals stabbing them in the face, so I guess you shout at the corpses about being dead and all. they are unimpressed.
Go from room to room, taking note of the layout of the castle, and taking everything valuable.
there's a big room on the ground floor. A big room on the second floor. A big room on the third floor. a trap door in the ceiling of the third floor with a ladder that takes you up to the battlements, if you choose. All the rooms are pretty bare. Glancing out a window, you see cold mountains, wind, and a winding road. This must be a border fort or something - a chokepoint for travel across the mountains. Hardly a fancy place to begin with. There is a wall running across the path, with a wide gate that is currently wide open, as if no hostilities are expected. From the looks of things, the gate has been open a long time. You look out another window and see another building, slightly higher up on the mountain. Must be the castle proper. It is a short, ugly thing, made of grey stone and wood. Flags fly at each corner of the gate there, and you spot two soldiers at post above the gate, looking your direction.
To sum up, you are in a tower next to the wall that crosses the road. the main building, not much bigger, is about fifty yards away, and is inhabited be at least a couple soldiers - probably no one else, since they did say the place was evacuated.
((Okay, I'll take a stat loss in charisma.))
I slowly, on guard go upstairs.
Stat loss noted. You find your team looting all the nothing in this place.
Summon a lighter power demon (Raven Form would be best) and take some time to actually bind it to my will. While dealing with the spiders is a priority, it's best not to take them on personally.
You summon a tiny little Legion of Things, all in a swarm around yourself. some manage to latch on and climb in under your feathers, biting and clawing at your flesh, but most just fall to the ground below. No telling if they survived the fall or not. You have more interesting things to deal with.
