"Wait for it....wait for it.....NOW!"
everyone opened fire on the enemy squad, their guns blazing, the peaceful silence broken by the sound of gunfire, the sound of death and loss.

I assume you want to target the closest one?

Yep.

1st Infantry Squad opens fire on the unsuspecting enemy squad in the treeline. Gunfire from all squad members tears through the shrubbery and tree line.

The targeted Norwegian squad contains 8 soldiers. 5 riflemen, 1 squad leader, 1 Submachinegunner, 1 LMG operator.

1st Infantry Squad Attack Rolls

To make this a tad easier on my part, I'm changing the way burst fire works. As intented, the 1d6 is rolled to determine the number of shots, but from now on, as long as the preceding attack rolls with modifiers are higher than the first, you get another kill. Rolling takes longer than I expected, sorry for the wait! I may test smaller squad compositions in the future in order to help speed things up.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

1st Infantry Squad kills 5 Norwegians. Targeted Squad has only three men remaining!

Spoiler: Norwegian Squad Status (click to show/hide)

Seems correct to me. :P

I don't have an official waitlist, though I should probably add something like that in the OP.

Also, currently waiting on Strawbarrel to complete his turn. Otherwise, I might have to take over the squad or turn it over to someone else. I might have to establish a reasonable time limit or, as someone suggested, have squads be suggestion based with more than one player controlling a squad.

EDIT: Added a roster at the bottom of the first post.

Looking at it right now, I guess fog of war isn't actually needed. The landscape, safe for unknown terrain - possibly in enemy lands - is already known, and or visible to an extent. Having our field of vision outlined as it currently is, gives a more "realistic" touch than the black fog.

About a reasonable time limit, huh. Wouldn't that be two days?
If the gm posts the new turn at "early night" of the participant, it can easily take twenty hours until the later sees it after coming home from work. Blame time-zones and workplaces without internet access for that one. The shortest turn under such circumstances, is already one day. Now just have them be busy with something else one evening, and two days can be considered fair. To have all participants online, as currently is the case, is a rare windfall.

Of course! Put you in the list at the bottom of the OP.

The 2nd Infantry Squad moves northwest, then opens fire on the squad southwest.

The 2nd Infantry Squad flanks the enemy squad. Firing upon the enemy from this position will not give them a Medium Cover hit penalty for the turn.

Sergeant Persson stands rather still, pistol aimed at the now fallen enemy.

"Sergeant, I think they are all dead." Wallin says.

"Yeah. Yeah, I think so too. Let's go over there to make sure." Persson motions his men to follow.

Move southwest.

((I can't get in range to fire at the other enemy squad in one turn.))

The 2nd Infantry Squad moves to the edge of the forest.

As the 2nd Infantry Squad walks cautiously through the corpses, Wallin remarks "Yep.. Definitely all dead."

Most of them where cut down by our ambush, i could see it in there eyes, fear of merciful oblivion. The few left fired wildly at us and there submachine gunner managed to hit Adrian in the neck, the look on his face changed from one of confidence and determination to that of surprise and horror, i will never forget that look in my life...

"Dammit! No! Those bastards will pay for this! Strike them down!!!"
(Continue firing)

"Commander, come in commander! This is Herse Wahlström, Squad Leader of the 1st Infantry Squad. All enemies neutralized! Eda Glasbruke remains under Swedish control! One casualty sustained!

...*bzzzzsh*....

"That's good to hear, Men! Stay put in the village for now. We're being attacked in several other key areas along the border, so we're trying to hold on to what we've got elsewhere. Await further orders and reinforcements."

Early 1921 Front

(Brown X's mark Norwegian victories. Blue X's mark Swedish Victories.)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Norway has made a heavy push into the southern border and a few more minor pushes along the center and north. You received some of the less heated combat, as there are not that many important strategic locations in this part of Sweden. Down south, one major reason for such a heavy push was due to the proximity of the Swedish border to the Norwegian capital, Oslo.

That was fun! I'm going to take some time to relax and think of the next potential scenario. You guys can do some RP while I'm busy if you so please.
