Description: Always somewhat of a prodigy, Sirius blazed through polytechnic as she could construct and repair just about anything with just basic tools and persistence. One day, however, she browsed the polytechnic's library and stumbled upon the Crepituxicon, the Book of Armaments, full of forgotten lore on the art of explosions. With explosives made more powerful by occult rituals and her engineering knowledge, she started her own demolition company. Everything went well in the beginning, but her unlikely success raised curiosity. After she refused to share her secrets, a rival corporation sabotaged an important demolition, ruining her reputation and forcing her to take to space. Sirius has fair skin, shoulder-length dirty blonde hair, grey eyes and a somewhat masculine build. Her clothing and face almost always have spots of soot on them, and her hair is easily frazzled when she isn't wearing her bandana.

Edit: regarding who has and hasn't watched One Piece, I got up to... Around the arc where they fight that one Caesar Clown person, I think? Where the island was split into two between one side that was always on fire and one covered in snow and ice and blizzards.

Name: Robert D. Surgeon(his friends call him Bob)
Age: 78
Gender: Male
Sex: Male

Description: Robert's an incredibly tall old man, at almost nine feet. He has a long, grey, luxurious beard that stretches down to his waist, and incredibly thick, bushy eyebrows, along with a mustache that extends quite a bit from his face. However, there is not so much as a single hair to be found on his scalp. His skin's quite tanned, though you can find a few spots here and there. He wears incredibly baggy shirts and shorts, which are almost always gaudily coloured. Bright orange, yellow and red is commonly seen on his ensemble, often at the same time. These very, very baggy clothes(which probably wouldn't even fit on most other people) also do an excellent job of concealing the fact that Robert is actually rather muscular. Turns out, wielding a 10-foot long spear(which isn't compensating for anything, shut up) is good exercise, even better if its mostly metal.

Robert's turned to piracy for, in his own words, 'lack of a better thing to do'. However, to most people, its quite clear that not even he really believes that. But, if its not wealth or worthy opponents or what have you, then what drives this man?
Who knows? Only time will really tell.

Inventory
Caladbolg: A 10-foot long spear of steel, brass, crystal and incredibly complex machinery. Can shoot various elements (eg. fire, lightning). Has a large store of nanomachines that serve well for quick healing as well, though they have difficulty in dealing with diseases, complicated poisons etc.
A Large Supply of Colored Clothes: Actually just the one set that cleans itself and changes clothes through SCIENCE. Doesn't do much else, though. It's not even that durable.
Basic Medical Supplies: Just random shit like scalpels and bandages, maybe a few herbal remedies.

I didn't mean you specifically, I just meant in general. I'd do it if I had the rulebook/wasn't planning a Magical Girl (or Magical Person, since there seem to be votes for allowing male characters in the thread I first mentioned it) game.

Of course, I understood it was generally addressed to everyone. But I wanted to state that I would really love to run a Maid RPG game here.

I really want to, sigh. This game is so much condensed greatness that I feel sad for those who never tried it.

I haven't played it, but it sounds hilarious from what I've read online. Hence me wanting to play it despite not owning the rulebook.

Do...do you just spend your days reading about games and anime, instead of playing them  . The Maid RPG PDF is 6$.

EDIT: So what sort of technology is there in this setting, at least in regards to indoors weapons. Are we using basically real life weapons, or are we using plasma revolvers or stuff like that?

Yay! You are only an arc or two behind, there is only a little bit revealed about the actual world at large in the next few ones.

The example character had an apparently normal sword, so its possible it has the same "all over da place" type technology as OP.

Captain/First Mate: No clue. (Kyle/Felix seem to fit here, if nowhere else .)
Engineers/Ship wrights: Harry/Sirius
Sword(wo)man: Lena
Chef: Devaro

PL-4T3 would probably be our Robin .

I didn't check your block, and seeing as how your backstory is one half-finished sentence I didn't have a lot to work with  . Really, anyone could fit into the captain/first mate roll, those two are the only ones who wouldn't really fit in any *other* roll. Zoro is probably the closest thing to a First Mate in the series, and he is also the swordsman.

I mostly meant he is the only one who knows how to cook, being a butler and all . But yeah, he is a little like Sanji, due to liking little lollies.

Not in One Piece, no. There was even a whole arc about how not having a doctor screwed the main characters over and shit, IIRC.

What Blitz said. Zoro tried healing himself, and he was pretty much always at a major disadvantage until they got a proper doctor. We don't know what alchemy actually does (because Sanure made it up whole cloth  ) and a healing device isn't something an entire party can rely on when we really, really need it. Its just that parties without dedicated healers seldom last long, and we need a medic more than we need (for example) a musician.

Also, I guess Kyle/Felix could fit in the "sniper" role, too.
