-Offer our blacksmith Wight and tentacle beasts to the orcs
-Pawning back the soul of a master earth elementalist is far more expensive than just paying for a single scrap m'dear. You'll need another four souls before you get it back.
- Let Penelope handle negotiations. Sending a underling may actually make us look stronger in this instance as we show we're too important to waste our time negotiating with some nobody.

A) Give the Orcs our blacksmith wight. Mention that we can probably insert the old woman's personality and/or memories (but not her abilities) into the wight... for a price.
B) Give the woman her father's soul. Thank her for her business.
C) Let Penelope negotiate, but secretly supervise her to ensure that she doesn't do anything stupid (possess the summoner, make promises that we can't keep, etc.).

No. Elementalists manipulate the elements. What you are looking for is an Enchanter, an specialist in moving energy around immaterial objects, which, when coupled with a crafting skill, can create artifacts of diverse effects. The souls of elementalists of a determined element are often used to enhance the abilities of a particular artifact. For example, your master's flaming axe was made from both demonic material and the souls of several fire elementalists.

Oh right, we have that axe. Is Penelope able to effectively wield it?

The height of a Balrog is more than 5 meters. As such, the axe is quite big for mortals, not to mention a child. But maybe an orc, being somewhat larger, could manage to wield it, although its effectiveness would be limited, and it would be unwieldly due to its size. The good part is that, as it is made from demonic material, it is lighter than one would expect, while keeping its edge.

Overall, it would not be made for an orc, but maybe they can use it. On the other hand, they would have to pay a hefty sum of souls for it, unless you are just renting it for some time.

How many souls would it be worth (per turn) if we rented it? How many souls would it be worth if we sold it?

You are not sure, buy you think that if you sould it, you could get like a hundred souls. If you rented it, maybe five per week. Of course, if it was damaged they would have to pay for it. The hundred souls would be a bit too much for most mortals. And you are pretty sure that five souls per week would be too much for a band of mercenary orcs too. They don't even know enchanting, and the hex weaving skills of their chieftain may be too amateur to manage to weave a hex on everyone they capture before they die.

Okay, in that case, let's just keep the axe in reserve until/unless the Orcish Chieftain is on the ropes.

No we don't need it, since we have 2 warrior wights too.
