By vaguely looking over the costs repartition, a new planet would at least cost 500pts, and even with that it would be a very small one.

Creating a planet would probably be a combined effort if we are ever allowed to do this.

The game isn't designed to have multiple planets. However, the planet you will be making gets bigger the more you add to it. So a planet with 3 continents is bigger than it would be if it only had 2.

Teaching one type of magic: 15 points. (So like fire or water magic would be a type of magic. From there the race would learn a couple spells in that field on their own.)
Expensive  :-\

Yeah, magic is set up to be a bit pricey because depending on how it's used, can be really powerful. Especially since it's cost doesn't come out of your powerpool per use.

Ok the IC is up and I think I like the way its set up. God specific requests will come later, I just wanted to do the first round without them and see how that goes and what you all think.

At this point you all are free to discuss with eachother, fulfill requests, and take actions. Here's the IC link: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=158326.0 I'll post it in the OP in a little bit too.

Liking it so far, though as you've probably noticed I'd like more information and detail from requests.

Oh noes I missed it D: D: D:

In case of casualties and other mishaps:

God Name: Caine
Sphere(s): Trade, Precious Metals, Wine, Civilisation and Individualism
Appearance: A tall but limber dark-skinned reptillian adorned in desert garb. Adorns himself with stone and metal jewelry.
Personality (optional): The god known as Caine is best described as pragmatic and goal-orientated. As long as you are not an obstacle in his path he'll consider you a friend or trade partner. In general, Caine is amiable but will not associate himself with those who would tear down the pragmatic order he wishes to create.
Goals (optional): Get rich and civilise the world while he's at it.

Race Name: Kephoi
Description: a species of thin-but-strong biped reptiallians, some ethnicities have fish-like or bird-like features.
Culture: Like their patron god, the Kephoi believe in the order of civilisation and that the chaos of the world must be conquered. However, in day-to-day life, kephoi are more concerned with getting by, having their common luxuries and caring for their families.

As of now players after the original 7 will be waitlisted, but I have a couple ideas for how to add more players with without overloading my workload.

If players could post an action report at the bottom of their action (like Demonic Spoon did) that would help me a lot with updates. I'd hate to misinterpret something and muck up your action or plan.

Well, that's okay. As long as I get my med-snek, I'm happy.

All the darkness of the void comes to one place as Garix emerges from the shadows.
As he speaks you can hear screams coming from the shadows concentrated around him.
I will use my powers to create small islands around the new continent and put my creation, the Inax there
Making multiple islands doesn't really seem cost efficient considering it costs 10 points per island.

There is no ocean as of yet, so how can there be islands? We urge you to reconsider, and instead aid in the creation of a continent
Floating islands ? :)

Floating islands seem more like a magical construct, thus a 30-40 point cost, considering you could just have a flying island above the continent and put your races that and have them be untouchable by the people below.
