The island doesn't need to take longer time than creating the portal, because it's a reaction, not an action.
The reaction will occur after the action.
It just needs to take more time than it takes for the Luminites to enter the portal.

This is correct. The creation of the Island began as a result of Zelthen creating a portal and ordering his army to go into it. Which means the portal was already created when Xenraft began to make a giant island in the sky appear out of nothing and then fall through the air to crush Sancturn. And as the portal was ten percent of Sancturn, which is city sized, it would be easy for the already prepared and marching armies to enter the giant portal before the counter-attack hit them.

I am not impressed. In fact, this has me pretty steamed.

Well, I knew of the guide, as that was what I was referring to.

Creation of Life:
50 points: Demi-god.
40 points: Minor powerful being (Angels, demons, abominations, basically any world power creature.)
30 points: A mortal race with magical ability.
20-30 points: Large creatures with dangerous potential (semi-megabeasts and megabeast levels of power)
20 points: A mortal race without magical ability.
10 points: A complex or magical animal
5   points: An animal or complex plant.
3   points: A plant or simple animal

But it uses singular terms on all of the things. Animal, plant, demi-god, powerful being, large creature with dangerous potential.
Which makes it seem like the examples only refer to creating a singular entity, as that's what the higher ones also do.
So, going from the assumption that "A plant" means several similar plants. We have Demi-god. Which only creates a single Demi-god.

It wasn't entirely clear that the examples with "a" and "an" at the start means creating several of that thing, while the ones without, means creating just one of them.

As for the planned race. I can't combine them, because I have way too few bird people (didn't only like 15 survive?).
So it's going to be creating them based off the creatures, but not composed of any part of them.
It's going to be full price. But can I give them magic later on if they are without magical ability? Since I don't want to cut off their ability to learn magic in case I chose to give them magic.
So basically I want them to be like the Lamia when they were first put in this world. Capable of being given magic.

Ah, then I guess the "30 points: A mortal race with magical ability." means they already start capable of magic. Without it having to be given to them.
However, one question remains. How is the wing configuration on the bird people (Anorath)?
Are the wings part of the arms, or separate limbs. I'd prefer to follow their configuration if I'm to make a race based on them (though it will take two turns until I can make them).

They are humanoids, who are completely feathered and have separate wings and and arms. They also have a beak and tail. Their feather coloration varies wildly between families.

You have 2 armies after the Deep front was a catastrophic failure, and you also have no home base, and the portal home is destroyed.
The Eastern Front has lost almost a third of it's fighting power, and the Tortons at Camp Lamia will only become more reinforced with time.
Meanwhile the Western Front got nothing done, and will likely not be able to combat the Ravens without becoming another Deep Front.

Yeah, you came out pretty well after that, and it does sound quite awesome. Too bad it's only downhill from here.

Edit: Wait... isn't the Tortons on the western part of the island and the Anorath on the eastern part? Shouldn't the names of the fronts be reversed?

Tortons are on the western part of the western continent. Anorath are on the Eastern continent.

Yep, it went better then I thought it would. I assumed that the other Gods would've just smited The Luminites. Sancturn being destroyed is a major setback, and I wasn't expecting the Battle in the Caverns to go so poorly. But I did however, make significant progress on the Eastern Front, although that might not last, I've got a Plan for that. On the Western Front, nothing may have happened, but I still have a sizable Force there. I'll just think about what I should do next, I've got a few Military Campaigns played out in my head, and they all end badly for The Luminites. Every Puzzle has a solution, it just takes time to find it.

Maybe the Map is upside down?  For the name of the Godly Continent, I propose Vrennick. I think the name has a nice ring to it, and it doesn't patronize any of the Gods. For the name of Benaril's Continent, I propose Benar. Because none of the Gods really had much to do with it's Creation, I think it's only fitting it should be named after it's Creator.

I think "The Moonless Depths" sounds like somewhat better of a name for our Ocean, but I'd support the other names either way.
