I wonder, could someone take multiple drawbacks and have more Powers and/or Determination as compensation?

And I'm really not sure either way. They both seem interesting. And I notice they both have a common theme: Radia is fucked, but Aurora might be fine or get more powerful.

Of course, Twin is neither man nor woman but an unholy eldritch abomination like every other Bay12er. The difference is they hide it better.

I've already put in my drawback (which was the only choice), just waiting on everyone else.

I mean, you're asking a fair bit of work from Dwarmin for a future just-in-case.

Evil clone sounds fantastic for Radia, and the chaos one sounds hilarious.

Wymond's have a common theme too: they're all ways he might lose his power/strength & prowess, which makes sense as he IS trained

So why does everyone want the evil clone? Do you just want to see Radia get rekt or what?  :P

it sounds like the much much cooler of the two, would lead to interesting encounters.

I personally think her fading into Aurora would be more interesting, but I'm outnumbered :P

Well I could probably RP that without the drawback part.

But ahhh they're both so cool and seem so fun to RP.

I don't suppose it's possible to take more than one Drawback and get extra powers or determination, is it  :P

Also: You wouldn't happen to be waiting on us to choose Drawbacks to start the IC thread, would you? If you are, you could probably just do that and have us take drawbacks by the time they'd be invoked.

The fading thing sounds like the kind of issue that isn't going to come up much, and is a bookkeeping pain when it does. Your nemesis popping around a corner screaming "NOW WE WILL BE ONE!" sounds way more iconic and relevant than "whoa, guys, I just spent three hours as Aurora, I need a nap before resuming."

The fading thing does have a lot of RP potential behind it, but it feels like that'd be way more obscured and harder to access than an evil twin. Unless the twin never really shows up, which I don't think we'd have to worry about. :P

Hence my statement that the evil twin seems more comic-book-y, and the sort of fading thing is more thematic.

I could probably RP the line between Radia and Aurora blurring as time goes on, just without the mechanical backing, even if I don't take that drawback. So I'll probably take the evil twin thing. Not 100% decided yet though.

I've picked 1st drawback, then.
Lets do the timewarp again, and all that.

Dwarmin, I know I'm not in, but in case I cameo, can I have my drawbacks too?

I can probably think of something.

Indeed you did.

Like a true Dresden expy.

1. The building was on fire, and it wasn't your fault: Murphy tends to wield his magic a bit...forcefully...

Quote
Murphy's spells have an innate 'backfire' effect-where they cause amazing unintentional property damage in to the area. Any spell cast over power level 4 has an increasing every level of causing structural and or general havoc to enemies, allies, and the guilty and non-guilty bystanders alike. Super-Insurance companies refuse to cover him any longer.

2. Wizards and computers get along about as well, as flamethrowers and libraries: Murphy's magic doesn't work well with technology, at all.

Quote
Murphy's magic tends to make any tech around notoriously cranky. Anything more complicated than a windlass or a flintlock tends to either fail or backfire hilariously in his presence.
