Yeah, and Lillian could also be a professional sharpshooter for sport. The suit would probably muffle her voice sufficiently or make it echo so unless you were deeply familiar with Lillian you wouldn't know who she is.

Before the argument gets too far into godmodding, consider your probably relevant stats in the area are even (lillian has higher by one but Thomas has +1 from his investigation.) therefor on average Lillian wins! (Since the system is somewhat skewed in the players favor). But only like, 58% of the time.

Awareness vs willpower. There's not realllly any sort of disguise or lying   thing to do in the actions so I'm not totally sure willpower is the right one, but I think it's probably the best bet (at least until such a thing actually comes up in game and the GM gives his opinion)

The player always rolls. When the player attacks, they roll their attack against a static defense, when they are attacked they roll their defense against a static attack. And since a "0" is a success in this game, the player is always at a advantage.

....eh? We were arguing that he'd be hard-pressed RP wise to compare the unassuming local rich lady to the Robocop expy who arrests people and is more or less the local equivalent of Batman unless he was specifically looking for links between Lillian and her Abram identity. Also, comic book rules.

Awareness v. Intellect or Intellect v. Intellect makes a bit more sense though, except it shouldn't actually be an opposed roll.

Would he really be that hard-pressed to connect the crack shot rich lady with lots of clockwork know-how to the crack shot clockwork person with a lady's voice?  Especially if he's ever seen her angry.

Yeah, it would be. Lillian doesn't go around repairing clocks, she makes tea and biscuits for little kids and her friends; her actual talents aren't things that she does in the public view of everyone else. The only people who would even know she's a crack shot or she's a mechanic are people who hang around her all the time and have seen her do it. And even then, you'd still have to make the logical leap from 'she's a talented sharpshooter with know-how' to 'she's an elite cop with power armor'.

If he doesn't like rich kids that much, I doubt he'd even bother actually looking into her hobbies until someone asked.
