My apologies for a turnaround, but it did take me a while to work out the combat system and the purpose I'm running this test for is working out any MORE kinks left. Sorry.

Porcelain Princess:
Eyes of the Oracle: Specify what this does more clearly or scrap it.
High-Torque Cyclonic Barrier: As with Inexorable Strength and Remote Detonation, please change this or scrap it.
Weakness Abuse: 20% crit chance, and when she deals a Critical she deals 1.2x damage because there's debuffs anyway.
Cyclonic Disruption: Enemies in Medium range get -3 to Hit for a turn against her, with a 2 turn cooldown.

Ebon Shadows:
Ebon Blade: 1d6 damage, 1d4 while split.
Umbra Step: Redo this skill, please. It's too situational.
Shadows Split/Arma Recall: Firstly, this is all one skill. Secondly, while split, Ebon Shadows takes a 10% penalty to damage.

Obsidian Bear:
General: You need an ability to transform into Bear or Humanoid form.
Mountain's Rage: Still needs to be an Ability or a Move.
Bear Claws: 1d6 damage.
Immovable: Make this do something else, please.
Boulder Crusher: An opposed STR v enemy STR/AGI to escape, doing 1d4+STR per turn for three turns until an enemy gets away. 2 turn cooldown.

But there aren't limited character slots I don't think? So unless you decide not to listen to the GM, you'll probably get in.

Vermillion Sun is the first to move, propelling themselves forward with a quick burst of light, gaining +2 AGI for the first turn.  [8 v 8] The Red Duel Avatar is smashed into by a massive shield as Baobab Bulwark collides into them; however, the force behind the blow is not so strong as the massive charge that preceded it, dealing a paltry 1 damage. Vermillion Sun, unfazed by the blow, points a single arm at the escaping Mercury Whirlwind, before unleashing a burst of light! [9 v 13] However, the Wind-based Avatar dodges the burst of light but suddenly, Concrete Striker zooms past and smashes the ground with enough force to damage both Duel Avatars, dealing 7 damage to Whirlwind and stunning them. Bulwark is also struck, but their defenses allow them to negate the damage with a shrug. Encouraged, Striker then smashes at the stunned Whirlwind with a forceful blow, dealing 15 damage! The critical strike also temporarily damages Whirlwind's internal workings, causing them to lose -2 AGI.

Elf:
[DC: 10] [9] Mercury Whirlwind remains stunned. No movement from them.

Vermillion Sun moves into medium range, as well as Concrete Striker. However, suddenly, a pair of roots weaves out from underneath Baobab Bulwark, entangling themselves around their feet and enclosing them in a red glow as they turn their attacks towards Baobab Bulwark!  Striker deals 6 damage to Bulwark with a powerful slash, while Vermillion deals 5 with a blasting laser. Vermillion Sun, however, is capable of switching targets and fires on the stunned Mercury Whirlwind, blasting a hole through their chest and causing the Duel Avatar to dissipate into nothingness.

Mercury Whirlwind has been defeated.

So that was 2 turns. Mercury Whirlwind got wrecked by unlucky rolls, Elf decided to nerf Stun and Active Defense.

ok guys last overhaul to the system i sware on mi mum

The Freeform Overhaul
- The system will now be wholly guided freeform. Most numerical calculations will be scrapped. Rules that apply to my other game also apply here in regards to freeform combat.
- Parameters are no longer numerical but ranked from E to S rank. A table can be found here. Similarly, there are now 20 points to be assigned to all Parameters, with Avatar Types increasing and decreasing their boon and bane stats by one rank respectively.
- However, Parameters no longer gain points by level up; instead, you may gain Ranks in Parameters using Armaments, Abilities, Techniques or by training up Parameters during the game.
- The OP has been updated accordingly with the examples changed to reflect the new 'system'.

The game will start by the 7th of August (Sunday).
