metals are technically earth, but lumping in gold and titanium with rocks (in the genetic fantasy equivalent term of earth) is stupid

obsidian, as a byproduct of lava, is in fact a rock

i mean, i guess it's too much of a stretch to assume that everyone learns basic information about igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rock during their first years of school
