Earth shares its specialties with Green and Blue, so a Earth-type could heal. It won't get any particular bonuses to it, but it doesn't lose out on anything either. A tanky medic might even work.

More like a combat medic, given the blue part of Earth. And it doesn't mean that we don't need an actual healer.

TBF, wanting to run away from something =/= getting cutting wind powers. That would be a different trauma entirely, something related to wanting to scatter apart, unless you can explain it better than 'running like the wind'. If anything, Vita's more likely to be a Lightning or a Red-type who specialises in Agility than a Wind-type by that logic.

We have thus far:
-One Metal-type (Copper Haze)
-One Blue-type (Azul Crusader)
-One Wind-type (Mercury Whirlwind)
-Three Black-types (Obsidian Bear, Umbral Knight and Ebon Shadow)
Out of those seven, only Umbral Knight, Obsidian Bear and Azul Crusader have decent defensive stats and only Copper Haze can pseudo-tank.

I mean, if nobody wants to go healer or tank, I'll change out my guy for a White/Green type, but eh.
Funny how the lack of Healer kind of fit Accel World's in universe rarity of Healers. I'm browsing the sheets of everyone currently, but I don't see myself changing my Avatar much. I'm already pretty attached to it :/

Well, it makes sense for the anime, but in an actual game, it really ain't good for us not to have a healer. :P

I don't see the problem. Being a healer doesn't stop you from bashing the head of someone.

2v2 fights does not guarantee the healer gets kills, though. Unless the game has organized fights thanks to mechanics, and you just need to WIN.

Then we have invincible broken healers with too much sustain :P

That aside, in the anime/ln I do remember experience being distributed to the team in the case of a 2v2, not by a "per-kill" basis.
