 The White King uses Doppelgänger on the spot northeast/southwest of it.

 The White King may or may not have switched its position.

 The Black King uses Pawn Clothes and *Unknown Ability* on the White King 6 squares to the south.

 That White King must move on it's next turn.

That White King must move on it's next turn.

 @FoU: No. Your moveset is simply replaced with a pawn's for 1 turncycle.

Well... that was the first time the king/doppleganger was targetted by pawn clothes, he decided to use the pawn double-move, and I thought that would make sense.

Yes, that's a move that is allowed
but it's a move that may be potentially disadvantageous to him
because if he moved 1, if i had used pawn clothes the doppelganger would still be threatening my pawn
as it stands now, i can use pawn clothes on the king without having to worry

Query: if I use an ability that says it is done instead of moving, is that permissible? Or does Starver's ability also prevent me from doing anything that would prevent me from moving?
