Wait, Sl4cker can capture with the modified movesets? How are his abilities in any way balanced?

Also, I opted not to mention that last turn there was an opportunity for en passant, the most obscure move in Chess that would have given, in my opinion, a massive advantage in the situation.

Still, hypothetical scenario is hypothetical. Now I just wonder which demon you sacrificed a whole barnyard to to get four abilities, each of which would be extremely powerful on their own, and three pawns.

The abilities of each player:

Spoiler: Doppleganger (click to show/hide)

Duration: Permanent until destroyed, as normal for a chess piece.
Target: Square adjacent(horizontally, vertically, diagonally) to my King.
Range: See above-targets a square adjacent to my King.
Uses: Can be used a max of once during each of my turns(not my opponent's turns). Has no max number of uses, but has a 2 turn cycle cooldown after use.
Action Type: Takes the place of my turn(is done instead of moving a piece).
Announced: At the start of the game. Subsequent usage of Doppleganger is announced, but it is not made publicly known whether or not I choose to switch my King and the new Doppleganger's position.
Effect: Creates a Doppleganger piece in the targeted square, under my control. Doppleganger pieces move like Kings, except that they can move into check. Dopplegangers appear to be Kings of the same color. Always. In addition, upon use, I have the option to switch my King and the newly created Doppleganger's places.

    Cost: 40

Duration: Instant.
Target: Two pieces under my control. Pieces other than Kings and Dopplegangers cannot be targeted with this ability.
Range: Any square on the board.
Uses: Can be used a max of once during each of my turns(not my opponent's turns). Has no max number of uses, but has a 2 turn cycle cooldown after use.
Action Type: Takes the place of my turn(is done instead of moving a piece).
Announced: Never.
Effect: Switch the positions of the two targeted pieces.

    Cost: 30

Duration: Permanent till destruction/capturing of the chosen piece.
Target: One piece, other than my King, under my control.
Range: Any square on the board.
Uses: Can be used a max of once during each of my turns(not my opponent's turns). Has no max number of uses, but has a 5 turn cycle cooldown after use.
Action Type: Takes the place of my turn(is done instead of moving a piece).
Announced: Upon usage. It is not made publicly known which piece I chose.
Effect: The targeted piece gains the "Suicide Bomber" status. Pieces with the "Suicide Bomber" status have an additional normal action in addition to movement: detonation(which takes the place of movement, if it's used). When a piece with the "Suicide Bomber" status detonates, it dies/is captured, along with all pieces adjacent to it. If this is done to the enemy King, I win.
