The Elite Frells are standing before two gods, torn between two choices.
Vorenaak [2]
Valence [1] > [1]
Given the situation, the Elite Frells are doubting both of you. In the end, they take the surprising decision not to listen to any of you !
"Sorry gods, but we can't discern the truth behind your words. We will make a decision once we see the humans and the Goldenboughs."
((Seeing no one added an action, I reckon you both wait for the Elite Frells to meet the Humans ? If retcon is needed, don't hesitate.))
The two gods disappear for now.
[5] The Elite Frells eventually reach the Human territory. But on their way, they see a strange scene : all of their Goldenboughs, and even more of it is amassed in a pile in the bottom of some crudely dug hole. First they suspect a trap, but after having scouted the surroundings, they find nothing. Only some signs in a language unknown to them.
"It seems like the Goldenboughs was thrown away. Like some trash. Strange."They are strongly hypothesizing that the humans are indeed not the thieves. It would make no sense to steal something to throw it away.
They decide to go meet the humans.
[3] They appear in the human village. First, panic ensues as unknown creatures appeared. What look like warriors arrive, followed by some kind of tribal chief.
He gestures and speaks to the Frells.
The Frells show the Goldenboughs and gesture.
The man makes a sign asking to be given the Goldenboughs.
The Frell do so, and the man throw the Goldenbough far far away, gesturing and shouting angrily.
The Frell picks up the Goldenbough and keep it close to him.
Then the Frells agitates their arms in a plowing motion, and the human bows.
Then the Frells left.
Despite not being able to properly communicate, the Frells understood from this exchange that humans don't like Goldenboughs. The Frells decide to head back home with some of their Goldenboughs, to bring what they know so that a bigger expedition be sent to retrieve all the Goldenbough and maybe more.
But they advise against directly interacting with humans for now, though they didn't seem overly hostile, they don't share the same opinion about Goldenbough. It would be unwise to do anything risky for now, but maybe in the future, they will be able to cooperate and communicate.
It seems Valence was right, and Lo Faraan was probably lying... They must bring this new to their people.
+Doubts cleared: Humans Innocent
+Human/Frell relation: wary of each other but not hostile
