"Well, we currently are in a mine dug into the Caverns, if you haven't noticed. A mine that is almost certainly about to collapse because I removed the card."

A frown crossed her face,
"Why aren't you driving then? You can talk and drive at the same time I assume."

"I don't drive. I give orders."

Thomas nods towards the nervous crewman currently operating the track controls.

"There's little more I can do but trust the Baneblade and her crew to get us out of here."

Thomas is doing his best to keep the Commissar poker face act up, but some anxiety is blowing through.

Carefully, so very carefully, the Commissar plucks the card from it's foundations...

(DC??? 1d20+4=???)

With a flash and some fancy sparkles the mine is sucked away into dust, dissipating into the card from whence it came nearly instantly, wow, how anticlimactic,  though one would suppose it is to be expected in hindsight, Oh, now those gemstone golems are getting up, just as they disappear, a different set appears, in the same process of getting up.

They spread out, looking for something, there are a lot of them.

Everyone is now visible to everyone else in the empty plane.

((I guess most of the references to a possible collapse must be retconned.))

"Well, we got what we came for. No point fighting the golems if we don't have to. Though their presence implies there's another Gemstone Caverns somewhere."

((Sidenote: Gemstone Caverns is a Legendary card. That would mean if a player has more than one on one side of the playing field at once, all but one must be sacrificed. Could probably be worked around by having another player play it in a separate unopposed game, though.))

"How so?" Daisuke seems to be walking towards the golems while writing something down on a piece of paper.

"Oh right, you didn't see it. This group of golems was summoned only after the first one was disturbed, and the first one disappeared just as the mine did. These golems must be linked to another Gemstone Caverns somewhere else."

"Ah, I see. But we don't need to go look for the other one, right? Just taking the one would probably be a sufficient message to whoever's running this place." He sticks a piece of paper on one of the golem's backs before it can react and runs off.
"Me neither... So I don't."

Her voice was rather threatening for the last sentence, but it's gone now.

"Like I said, it works!"
"Truly, you have much experience in taming dragons."

"Our job here is done. Someone better equipped for scouting should look for the other mine or mines after we report back to CCTGPF."

The Commissar orders the Baneblade to return to the spyplane at walking speed so that anyone who wants a lift can hop on.

"I think that piece of paper will relay the message sufficiently."
