Daisuke crouches down to pat it on the head like a dog. "So, these are basically Pokemon, but kept in your keychain?"

I mean no one wants dead whales and abortion clinics juxtaposed with each other, but it's just something that happens! Like false vacuum decay!

"Well, they can't fight, but they can run errands for me. I kinda specialise in raising and breeding them, too."

"Hm. Does it cost a lot to breed them?"

"No, not at all. The devices dispense the food and medicine, and it makes cleaning and taking care of them easy.

"Lucky. You can't exactly, you know, breed Beyblade."

((Fair enough, though what I am talking about is completely based on special cases.  Assume that monsters live in their cards, and mostly revert to normal outside of extenuating circumstances.))

((Makes sense. So Creatures can be hurt or even killed in battle and be fine because their "soul" resides in the card.))

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.

"Well, sometimes they CAN get a little hard to deal with. At least your Beyblades don't always ask for your attention."

((Yeah, but some things can leave lasting effects.  Like i said, i'm leaving it up to players to decide when something warrants a base card change, since OOC, it is kind of irritating when someone can Genderbend all of your awesome cards, or turn them into candy, or do something equally horrible.))

"is that an invitation Good lord, that'll be the worst of both worlds. You have to sell your soul for the Beyblades and then you have to manage the Tamagotchi's curriculum or something."
