What Font Does Dwarf Fortress Use?

Dwarf Fortress uses "code page 437" or CP437, though the character set is often, erroneously referred to as "ASCII" (which is a specific set of 128 codes and characters).  Here is a previous post about the topic.

Also, in a typical application if you don't want to fiddle with fonts, sometimes you'll find something like "FixedSys" or "Console" which is roughly equivalent for most purposes.
