Basically, You stack everything related to your charecter as blocks on a pyramid, the higher up it is, the stronger the trait is.
Whenever a trait is rolled against, It has a chance equal to one over the other, and if they are equal, it is a 50/50 chance.
This means that level 1 and 2 traits are at the same level.
You have things like health and mana equal to their level.
Anything can be a block, from backstory to signifigant equipment
A block is influenced by thetwo blocks that support it.
So if you have Lifesteal, supported by Money and minions, it means your lifesteal is faccilitated by minions and money, however you care to explain it.
If you have a super form supported by your sword and your quest for vengeance, it means your transformation requires your vengeance and your sword.
In order to defeat an opponent, you want to attak their weak foundations and protect your own.
If your swordfighting is balanced atop your training and your sword, and they attack your sword instead of your sword figting, you could lose the sword temporarily, weakening or even preventing you from using your sword fighting.
It is impossible to have something be OP under this system, because anything can be balanced on top of anything, Playtesting has shown that this system is incredibly anime, since you can literally balance your ability to fire a giant laser on top of the friendships you have made, or literally anything else, and if something "strong" like invincibility is really low, then you keep getting hilariously beaten anyway because it is only level 1, so you like, get encased in cement or something.
Only problem is that it is kinda hard to format in the forums, I ran it in a google doc's sheet last time.
