You can't damage yourself in YuGiOh unless card effects specifically allow it, so that's not possible either.

we're not always going to abide by the exact rules of the games super duper strictly
that is the point

well, I know that, I just didn't know what you were talking about despite the blatantly obvious context

also that is a good idea of a nerf but it also makes Exodia pointless except with revival or during the Actual Last Battle of the game or something, except for aforementioned heroic sacrifices and all that

probably just negates the spell (like trap cards) or "destroys" (prevents user from activating said spell) it for a little while/rest of the battle

And one more time to shut down this arguement.

We'll just say Exodia isn't going to be a thing, and save me the trouble of another argument.

And expand that to cover most instawin cards, because there is no way they won't just raise a shitstorm that I have to deal with.

Spell destroying effects would work logically, such as negating the silence on a minion, or otherwise negating the effect of a spell that has a lasting effect.

but just saying they won't be a thing doesn't solve any of the problems caused by them not being a thing
not every single person who plays would use every single instant win card, but it's a possibility you can't really hand wave away

I can respect you don't want to continue the discussion and I don't mean to but I just wanted to say that

Nobody has one, and nobody thought of getting one until the discussion of them being OP started.

Ergo, they exist, but are not a thing, unless you people can chill about them.

Froggy has 2 cards in his deck that Let him summon any monster from his deck, and has the innate ability to trade or bribe his allies and enemies by trading cards.

Several people start with something along the likes of a 7/20 (2800/8000) to start.

Balance is not the goal of this game because of how quickly victory shifts from one side to the other, which is what I am enjoying personally, with a few changes to the situation, it has turned from one side curbstomping the other like 3 times.

Shadestyle, would it be alright if everyone could have access if they so pleased to a Duel Disk style apparatus?
