Consider the following.  They can only beat you by doing things your way their deck is entirely taken out of the equation, and you control the flow of battle, oh, and they can still take damage, but you can't.

Forcing a mirror match is unbalanced and I won't allow it.

Make a new character if you can't live with your BS sheet being balanced, And I give you the option to change your Stats.

Because FOR THE TENTH OR SO TIME, THE EXPLODING KITTENS DECK IS THE BLOODY HP BAR!!!!  HOW HARD IS THAT TO UNDERSTAND?!

It's NOT a mirror match.  The opponent takes their turn as normal, plus drawing a card from Exploding Kittens at the end of it.  Their attacks would, under my adaptation, force Cina to deal with being attacked as she would in a mirror match, yes.  But that is not the same as "Nope you're playing Exploding Kittens now."

Yeah, I'm sure that "cannot actually attack AT ALL" (because Attack cards make the opponent take another turn, and only Cina would actually ever DRAW a kitten if she can't make the opponent do so) is balanced all right.  I'm so sure.

This. As stupid as TBF's being with pretty much insisting on forcing another defeat condition or some rather kludge-y game mechanics on other characters (honestly, it doesn't really benefit Cina's opponent at all), being a shit to him really isn't helpful.

Anyway, argument's over, so it doesn't matter.

Cross-system matches are already kludgey.  It's just less different because they're all based around 'summon creature, have fight' to some degree, as opposed to 'Bombs are in this deck.  You must avoid drawing them.', which kind of means that the opponent must actually draw from the deck to give the game's owner anything resembling a fair chance.

And yes, the whole point of me insisting on the opponent taking on a defeat condition was so Cina could actually defeat them.  It's not supposed to benefit them.
