Aight, so,
guidelines are you pretend you are running a match for either side straight, until one of them says to do something outside the norm, then depending on if it is related to the monster doing something clever, or breaking it's limitations you roll the heart or skill check
If a spectator makes a suggestion and the player does that, they get a bonus to their roll based on the other person's respective stat.
This counts for tolerance checks too.
You could do something like Digimon and Bro it up with Mr. Referee, who does Scannerz.
Hmm. If the attack was non-physical. You can cure it with medicine the turn it was done, EG there is a card in hearthstone that is a cobra, it kills any minion that attacks it regardless of if it wins or loses. you could medicine that.
I'll get to work putting games to charecters now.
*EDIT* Done, everyone now has their game listed next to them.
Anything else I missed? This prologue will end as soon as everyone deems it necessary, and not everything will be based on combat, my plan is that we use a round-robin system, 2-3 players get their chance to shine at a time, while the rest are doing something equally important, using their means to solve obstacles, fight individual monsters that have no master, and ultimately solve the actual problem that was going on while the 2 people dueling distract whoever is trying to take advantage of the situation as a distraction and to ultimately arrest them.
