"Go ahead and come in."

[Twinwolf]

Lillian enters the room, bringing the crutches with her. "H-Hello, Caderyn, sir. How are you f-feeling?"

[Chevaleresse]

"Mostly annoyed at being jammed into this bed, but it seems that you've brought a solution to that."

[Twinwolf]

"Well, as l-long as you do nothing strenuous, y-your wound shouldn't get any worse."

[Chevaleresse]

"Good." He sits up in the bed and shifts sideways, then reaches one arm out toward the crutches.

[Twinwolf]

Lillian hands them to him. As she does this, she watches him for any signs of pain.

[Chevaleresse]

His face twists a bit as he hauls himself upward onto the crutches, but not enough to slow him down, apparently, as he heads immediately for the door. "Thank you, Lillian, I think I was about to go insane."

[Twinwolf]

Lillian follows, of course. "Don't strain yourself too much, p-please, or you'll be b-back in bed and crutches won't be enough to let you w-walk."

[Chevaleresse]

Caderyn flaps an arm at Lillian dismissively. "I'll be fine. Here, what if I promise to just get downstairs and sit down?"

[Twinwolf]

"T-That'd probably be fine..."

She still follows him. There's only one staircase after all.

[Chevaleresse]

Caderyn makes his way down the stairs slowly and carefully, then shuffles over to one of the tables and drops himself down into it.
