The Bay 12 Games Report, May 1st, 2016Mission Status We are in a state of total victory. Knowing that we can count on the giving nature of the world-simulator enthusiasts, we will continue to bring you outrageous content in the form of Dwarf Fortress updates. I think you share our vision of the future, one where there are limitless opportunities for greatness. Fortress mode and Adventurer mode will just keep growing and blowing all minds. We already have a myth generator waiting to go in after the 64 bit experiment. By then there will be artifact quests and powers. Entire magic systems will be generated and fitted into unique worlds. It will be a whole new experience, a journey into the future where no one would even think about turning back. All the while, fixes and bug hunts will make players' lives more comfortable while they wait patiently for the inevitable, ultimate experience.
Congratulations to the generous!
Fun with Numbers Thanks to everybody that helped out last month! April was rough due to the illness, but we can try again for a release in May. I'm finishing up work orders now. Then I just need to handle some miscellaneous bugs (like the recently introduced masterpiece food trading bug). So if things go smoothly, we should have no trouble getting a version up. On to the mission!
April: $6456.29
March: $9384.04
February: $6866.51
January: $6754.20
December: $9066.29
Reward reminder: If you
support us, you can pick either a Story Reward or a Crayon Art Reward. A Story Reward is basically a mini-Threetoe story (
examples) and a Crayon Art Reward is a crudely drawn scene which we sketch, color in, and mail to you, anywhere in the world (assuming your contribution covers postage, which is about a dollar almost wherever you are). We take personal requests for either reward as well, he he he. You can also be listed among
the Bay 12 Champions. You can choose any kind of reward no matter which contribution method you choose.
