Axt walks on, he walks for days, yet Meginhard doesn't thirst or hunger, Axt makes sure of that.
Axt arrives at a town in flames. Looting, stealing and killing for short term gain.
I should have known this would happen. Strength is nothing if you don't use it.
Axt advances into the town, corpses are strewn about, and the survivors are running away as the raiders are taking what and who they please.
"It's the duty of the weak to give to the strong." The leader of the raiders say, the son of the Jarl.
But a group of warriors arrive to the town. Too bad only a few have proper equipment. Their leader is an alderman of a nearby town, which has yet to be raided.
"You are nothing more than a thief, taking what doesn't belong to you! Did your father not teach you respect?!"
The alderman shouts, the Jarl's son laughs.
"You think you stand a chance? Just drop your weapons, and we'll make your deaths quick."
While the alderman's men are shoddily equipped, the Jarl's son's soldiers are trained soldiers, who then charge at the peasants.
Axt stands back, watching the slaughter. It doesn't take long until morale breaks, and the peasants run away.
The Alderman and a some of his warriors remain, they are equipped with proper swords and shields. There are a couple loyal peasants, but they soon get cut down.
The warriors do quite well, even though they are surrounded. There are 11 surrounded warriors, and 32 raiders around them.
There are a few dozen raiders in reserve, and a few wounded raiders. Axt doesn't intervene, instead watching them fight, even as the surrounded warriors keep fighting a doomed fight.
"Wow, such prowess, much impress. Truly you are the greatest warrior on the island."
Axt says this to the Jarl's son, which he somehow got right beside, despite him being surrounded by soldiers.
"Who the hell are you?!"
The Jarl's son draws his sword, in response to Axt standing there with his sword drawn. And Axt had reapplied the script on the way to the town.
The raiders around him turn to Axt, and attack. But Axt just turns around and swings his sword at them. The script activates, and throws a dozen of them back, onto the ones behind them.
The Jarl's son attacks, but Axt parries his sword, then with his free right hand, he grabs his head. The Jarl's son loses consciousness, but Axt holds him in the air with his hand.
Then the Jarl's son's eyes open, but this time, glowing red. Axt lets go and the Jarl's son lands on the ground, shaking all over.
"This will be a much more appropriate form for you."
Axt then walks toward the surrounded warriors, but the raiders block the way.
"Move."
Axt makes a sweeping motion, the raiders find themselves thrown aside by a mystical force.
The warriors are now down to 7, the alderman is among the dead. Axt has direct vision to them, and then he throws something glowing to them.
The glowing thing splits into 7, and enters the fighting warriors. They find themselves healed and rejuvenated, in addition to something else.
The warriors get stronger, tougher, and bigger, in the matter of seconds. Which is what it takes for the raiders to get back up.
Their weapons and shields grow with them, and now they are 7 giants, surrounded by raiders. The raiders attack, but the extra power proves very useful.
After only a few swings, the raiders start to retreat, with rapidly dwindling numbers from casualties and retreat, the rest follow.
Meanwhile the Jarl's son has completed their transformation, they have turned into a dragon, and has gone berserk, killing raiders left and right with claws, teeth, and fire.
"These raiders will worry you no more. This Jarl's son will deal with them. Meanwhile, you should leave. Lest you end up like the others.
But if you want to fight, go ahead, it's 7 against 1. So maybe you could succeed. But I would hardly wager on it."
Axt starts to walk away, to somewhere else.
What a shame I could not fight the warriors while they were human. Ah well, maybe next town.
"Wait, swordsman. Why don't you stop him?"
"As a human, I don't stand a chance. As a god, he don't stand a chance. Either way, the fight is one sided, and pointless."
"But you created him."
"And I also created you. So if you fight, the strongest will succeed. If you don't fight, both of you will survive."
"Don't you care for the lives of innocent people?!"
"I do, but not enough to intervene further. I already saved you from certain death. What you choose to do, is your own decision.
If you want a better chance, go north for a few days. There is a village there, they know how to enchant weapons, I taught them to."
Axt continues walking, leaving the decision of the warriors up to them. Be it battle or retreat.
Empowered Mennesker, giants are big, strong, and tough.
They can change to a smaller size if they want to, and these traits are hereditary, even with humans.
If a giant is born to a human mother, their power will stay dormant until puberty, making them look human, even have the strength of one.
