Proposal

Gods at 0E or below may be gifted Essence to return to life. Any gifted Essence is halved and provided to the god, with a minimum gift of 2E necessary to bring the dead god back to life...

Edit for clarification: ... if the dead god is at 0E, 4E if they are at -1E, 6E at -2E etc.

Yes, and then come charitable/ridiculously powerful god comes along and revives them again. Or they had the godly equivalent of a soul jar. It's a vicious cycle.

Currently, the rules are "10E to revive a God who is at 0E. This puts them back to 5E. If you get under -5E, you are permadead."

Still, it leaves plenty of room for permadeath if the attacking God really wants it.

Our corpses are bleeding essence at the moment, so I assume it will happen naturally in 3-5 ticks.

Oh hey, one good thing that comes out of 3 gods dying is I think it'll increase the average Essence income so we can get our influence mini-quests a bit sooner

All he did was try to make the retaliation into a duel.

Stirk's new god will do the same; it seems to be a theme with his gods to be belligerent to some extent.

I don't see it with Munroe though, he wasn't too bad. Only thing I had against him was the defaulting on payment, which was partially Saukko's fault.
