and here I'm suddenly faced with the issue of figuring out how the fuck Caderyn is carrying his spear when it isn't being used.

What it says it does in my sheet?
x3 Bottle of Beer: Perfect for bashing foes over the head with! Smashes on impact, though...
Class Preference: None
Job Preference: Brewer, Gaffer
Stat Bonuses: None
Active Effect: When you fail to do damage on an attack, you may destroy this item to use a skill that requires you to forgo damage to be used.
Passive Effect: None
Traits: Budgeted: This item lasts for 1 plot, and must be refilled by spending currency equal to ?? per combat to be used for another plot.
Mat Level = 3.

Skills:
Banish The Swords Of The Unfaithful (Disarm): When an attack deals damage against a target who is using a weapon, you may choose to forgo the damage, instead causing the target to drop their weapon, and placing it a number of feet away, equal to the damage you would have done. Ignore armor when calculating potential damage.
Oh. Did not notice that. My apologies. I just didn't really want to end the RP.

usually when people carried spears they just dropped them when they stopped needing them

[01:52:31] Myrdwyn Lily: yeah, I'll just say it's a sort of thing where it's got a little hook and a notch that said hook slides into
[01:52:43] Myrdwyn Lily: sounds realistic enough, right?
[01:53:02] Myrdwyn Lily: It's not a back-sheathed greatsword at least

In the wagon, I just imagine it is lying on your side or between your legs.
In the wild, apart from strapping I dunno. Clenching your teeth around the shaft ?

Hold a spear is realistically done with the base resting in your hand and the shaft resting on your shoulder.

Yes, but sheathing is the issue, not holding.

Do you want something like this?

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Because otherwise, you're fresh out of luck.

Can't you strap it or create a random convenient tube that can be opened/closed/locked/tightened easily to fit your spear ?
