They can, but don't expect to get any items that level your stats up faster

Hey, we were told that we can have 3 equipables and 5 items, right (With the ability to trade equips for 2 more items each)? Then why does Sanure's character have 5 equips and 6+ items, not counting the many, many multiples as extras? I was under the impression the rules still applied to GM characters.

By the way, can you check the items I have in my sheet? Also, I assume that I have to use one item "slot" for each individual potion and poison, and not just have groups of 3-5 potions or whatever taking up one slot.

Also, what's stopping Alchemists from mixing up 100 of every possible potion between missions? Or is there some limiting factor to how many they can make between combats (say, Int)?

I'm pointing it out before it becomes an issue and suggesting a fix. Emp just points it out and doesn't bother trying to fix it. We're in the pre-game, I wouldn't do this once the game was actually started unless it became an issue in the IC.

A better way to do it is to ask the upper limit of potions first and exclude the game-breaking part. We know about the game-breaking part.

Time mostly.

Me and San will judge the vague time span between encounters and how much brewing can be done, and if you can do it while moving, you can't make 100+ potions in under an hour after all.

And yeah, potions and poisons take up a full slot for now, explosive chemicals aren't applicants though, so you could have up to 25 bomb potions in one slot, though they would be small and weak.

Outside of items that specify otherwise, your ability to use them is inherent.

I asked the action bit because Sanure's character has an action specifically for using smokebombs.

So does mine, actions that use "items" are implied to be obtained by your character in the background, but they can work like poultices.
