I would like to get everyone's opinions on the backstory and any suggestions that could be used to improve it also if my character has been training for 6 years in most likely the army what would their rank be?

Gelibete was a happy child for much of her life she stayed with her family which consisted of mother and father and big brother Colleen. Gelibete lived with her family out far away from the nearest town but close to several monasteries and unfortunately Gorgon lairs and on her 16th birthday they attacked her home. Gillebete desperately tried to fight them it ended with having her face scarred and an eye blinded as she was forced to watch her parents bloody death's and her brother being ripped in half the Gorgons left her there in pain as she grabbed her brother desperately refusing to believe she couldn't save him she rushed out into the wilds looking for a monastery...she made it halfway before beohtric found her lying in the snow a corpse in her hand herself nearly dead from blood loss and frostbite and beotric brought her back to his holy order saving her life....when she woke up after several months of seemingly being in a coma. She was strange and surreal making up stories left and right covering up her own weaknesses desperately coming up with feats of valor and bravery to comfort herself and she slowly seemed to believe it herself until bandits attacked the holy order she and beohtric were at. Filled with rage Geliebte grabbed a suit of armor and a Lance and she fought and held them back until help arrived. She had nearly died but had shown great potential. In the following years she was trained rigorously to fight, hold the line, and to wear heavy armor determined to never lose anything again and now after all these years she's finished with her training and has come back to visit beohtric her hero she'd never have made it this far without brohtric and she want's nothing more right now then to make her hero beohtric proud of her.

Perks:Defender of the innocent bane of evil:When defending the innocent ((children,townsfolk people who generally can't protect themselves)) she gains +2 constitution +2 strength and will always go first in initiative.
Second perk religiously knowledgeable:+2 when talking to monks or religious orders as she understands their beliefs
Third perk:Soul boon:Her soul burns brightly and if her soul is being stolen the enemy has to roll agasint her constitution stat and they have to roll it twice and succeed both times to take it.
Negative perk 1 Damn Gorgons!:she loses her cool around these creatures scared and terrified she loses 2 strength when fighting them.
Never hurt a innocent:She is physically incapable of hurting a innocent and suffers a -2 to any roll of attacking them and would have her stats lowered by 2 if she even attempts it successful or not.

Equipment:A steel Lance high quality full soldier armor set ((like the armor picture)) A thick big sturdy shield and a quiver of steel javelins ((roughly 24)) some kind of identification of rank on her armor probably made of metal andcompassa utility knife and a knapsack for carrying food and other essentials ,a compass and other survival tools the army would be given as well as any money she might have been given for her service.(Your starting equipment. GMs will approve or veto these.)

Skills:Ravaging annoyance: when activated enemy's must roll their constitution to avoid attacking her.
Heroic charge:she charges forward for a powerful attack her damage is doubled for this attack it can only be used once a battle.
Lance twirl she can spin her Lance to block out magical attacks and disarm foes.(Your know moves and abilities. These are learned at level up, or by spending platinum on a skill trainer.)

Hm. Ideas forming.

Maybe this: One of her parents was the sibling of the current head of the family, and ran away from the inheritance-politics when they/their wife got pregnant and they didn't want their kid to be involved in all that shit. But because bloodlines and all that crap she's still technically eligible for the whole thing and that causes issues and/or good things later on after she finds out about that either through contact with another noble who knew of all that or one of her cousins or half-siblings from before the noble parent actually fell in love.
