Name: Elidyr Moesen
Age: 38
Gender: Male
Appearance: Elidyr is a veritable tower of a man, standing at the intimidating height of six-and-one-half feet. His hair, a golden brown like the bronze he wears and wields, is most often tied back in a low ponytail despite its relatively short length for such a style. A jagged scar runs across his ever closed left eye, from cheek to forehead, leaving one brown eye in place. His face is grave with a defined nose and framed by a sharp square jaw. He is clean-shaven.
Elidyr is very well-built from years of smithing and learning swordsmanship despite his natural bulk, with broad shoulders, thick limbs, and large hands and feet, though his bare musculature is seldom visible - you tend to see it in action more often than in person, and it is usually overtaken by said bulk anyway. He wears smallclothes in various shades of brown underneath the golden bronze armor he so prizes.
Personality: Patient, unyielding, possibly seeming not to care at times. Becomes nigh-uncontrollable when truly angered.
Background: In the humble settlement of Tref Haearn, along the Iron Coast in the east of the Wastes, a young boy was born nearly four decades prior. The boy had a bright fire within and would make a fine warrior, as many were certain, but it was not to be. His parents were of the highest order of smiths in the area and once he was of age Elidyr joined the profession happily. He was a natural, forging some of the best arms and protective equipment the town had seen in a long while, and made his family very happy and prosperous. However, such success had made him overconfident, as it tends to do.
Midway through his twenty-fifth year of life, Elidyr was working on a special gift for one of Tref Haearn he had a particular like for, though the bronze was temperamental and would not cooperate. Elidyr had promised the gift before the next sunset, and he became angry as it would not be completed in time if he could not coerce the metal into taking shape. Out of rage, he struck the bronze much too hard, and the metal completely shattered. Elidyr's hubris had blinded him temporarily to the fact that the bronze was cold and brittle, and blinded him permanently as one of the shards put out his eye as a reminder.
Elidyr changed that day. Though he did not give up his profession, he changed his ways, becoming very patient and calm; bottling away what little anger he ever came across as though it was not there. He would not repeat the mistake that cost him an eye, after all. Elidyr developed a desire to do the and for others as well, to keep them from letting their accomplishments or perceived talent get control of them. Forging a set of armor and a weapon of his namesake metal and taking a set of tools with him to keep his craft alive on the journey, Elidyr set off on his task across the Wastes.

Guard: Elidyr places himself between an ally and the enemy. All attacks against them are made against him instead for three turns or until Elidyr ceases guarding. Defensive actions such as Block or Deflect do not cancel Guard.
