Name: Brother Robert.
Age: 38
Gender: Male.
Appearance:
Basically this.Personality: There are two Brother Roberts. The Brother Robert who goes to bed every night is a cheery old soul, with a smile for everyone, a playful insult for everyone, and their mother, and a belly-laugh as loud as a lion. But, the Brother Robert who wakes up in the morning is nothing like the Brother Robert of the night before. He's a depressed, exhausted man, his face gaunt with the things that he's seen and done in the service of the Church. He's embarrassed of who he is when he's sober, so he gets drunk as early as possible, and stays that way throughout the rest of the day.
Background: Brother Robert joined the church at a young age, a fifth child of a minor noble, destined for nothing special. He studied at a small monastery in the Icewyn hills, studying the teachings of Saint Esbel. Recruited to be an assistant for one of the monks much higher in the hierarchy, he saw things that he can never forget and can only hope to never see again. He turned to alcohol to escape the visions of death, horror and things much worse than that. He lost himself in drink, abandoning his sacred duty to Saint Esbel. After a few months of living on the road (or, more specifically, the sewer), the monks tracked him down and brought him back to the path of righteousness. Now, he adventures to repay his debt to Saint Esbel.
