but it is all set-back. The entire time I was under assumption Ludmilla had been working under a sort of justification, and could prove her hard ways through results. Instead she rode silently for a week and suddenly sharted shouting randomly after her instructions had less effects than a brisk jog to over right there. And even gets mocked in a smugly sarcastic way about it by sanure, how nice. Cant even begin to put into words how mad I am

Yeah I'd prefer everything to make sense before we continue on.

Outskirts of town

The night air was cold as the caravan finally arrived, the town just on the horizon. The lights flickering from the nearest homes denote the settling of dusk upon the land. At the head of the caravan rode a young woman, barely in her prime, who carried the banner of the Church of St. Esbel upon the back of the large direbear that accompanied her. From afar, a lone wolf howled at the rising moon, signalling the caravan to stop. Four wagons, each covered in a dull grey canvas roof, lurched to a near halt as man calmed the horses into a light pace, "The cold air feels good tonight. A good end to a long journey." His words were sound relief to the others. The journey had been long and difficult, but not a single monster to fight off, nor any of the local brigands to hassle them for goods. Though there had been a few false alarms, the caravan had but a few more safe miles to go.  The few traders with the caravan began to laugh and celebrate on their wagon, the jovial noise they created seemed to draw a few feint smiles. The man atop his horse strode up to the woman in lead and began reporting his findings, "Ajen has given the all clear on the next few miles, and not a single monster the entire journey. I think we may finally be able to give the horses a breather." His tone, although soft and light-hearted, carries a foreboding tone to it, although the joyous laughter of the merchants was enough to push it to the back of minds. Not giving the caravan leader a moment, the man slowed his pace to fall in between the four wagons, "It's safe travels from here until Chilvern.  Might as well come out and take a gander at the town from here." His words were light, signalling his companions that they can finally remove the wagon covers, if they so chose to.
It was literally in the OP, though, that the place was nearby. Can't really blame Sanure for you not reading the OP, though I'll not argue on his behalf for any OTHER problems you have with him.

Things do make sense right now aside from Ludmilla.

Also, Ludmilla IS a little off her rocker anyway if she thinks that Valkain gives a shit about Edo (it doesn't) and you can ride back to Edo on horseback (unless your horse is a seahorse, good luck). :P

But, um, if you're the GMs, you coordinate things. Akroma shouldn't NEED to read the OP to know something that Sanure was going to say, like the location of the town everyone is going to??

Fair point, then.

Alright, carry on yelling at San.

How about instead we just find a reason for Ludmilla to kind of come out of nowhere with her drill sergeant nasty schitk? Maybe the previous leader was somehow removed and since she was the second in command she became leader?

dude she was literaly just purposefully insulting you and your backwater kingdom, did you really not get that?

also, when the game had started, there was already 14 pages of stuff. I briefly went over it. And even then, would it have made sense that we wll travel wordlessly, and finaaaaly start with the introductions like, 30 minutes away from the destination?

and sanure had AMPLE chance to actually remind me in-game about how the destination is right the fuck over there. Remember the first thing I did when I started the game? I ordered everyone to rest for the night as sun was going down n 30 minutes. Where the fuck was the smugly sarcastic insult then about how we'd literaly be in town before the tents are even built?

Except Ludmilla did all her insulting to the wrong person. Shina wasn't even paying attention to Ludmilla and half the people don't even know what the shit an Edo is when she was barking orders :P

Not to mention that, bar a significant minority of the earls, the Burakani are racially discriminated against there anyway, so not much reason to have pride in Edo for Shina, who's also a ronin to boot. :P

that, and your charsheet doesnt even say anything about edos rulers. Mights as well be a region of valkein, which appearantly unified a whole lot of nations by force. Burakani, Andou, tinkey-winkey and whatever else you kept repeating etc, those are all words that only make sense to you and were never explained to anybody. The only in-game explanations would literaly be that she is from so fucking far away that nobody would have any idea wtf she even is.

"Ronin, so you like, uhm....you make running shoes or...?"

stop being so stuck up about your not-japan lore injected into a frozen wasteland game is not immediatly obvious to everyone to have their character react to it in correct detail how you expect it. Shina is a maximum level foreigner. She is from Beijing, and wonders why people call it Peking

....yeah if you're going to have references to a place repeatedly you should mention where it is and general knowledge and opinion of people about it.

I whole heartedly apologize for assuming you had read the OP. I figured, what with it being a new game, that everyone would take a moment to at least read the important bits of the RP that wasn't people introducing themselves to each other. I mean, I did state we were on the outskirts of town and it was on the horizon. If that wasn't important than I might just be in the wrong line of work.

@SB, Want to say that to me again? Since when wasn't reading the OP important? Since when was Important information not important? That's what an OPENING POST is for. that is what narrative is for. Christ SB, it's like you've never shitposted before. :P *yes, I am making jokes while mad <3*

eh, I guess its lost in translation, but weeanazi is supposed to be a joke. I can't keep a straight face when someone mentions ancient japanese forms of rulership, then expects anyone to understand a word he said or more incredibly, already know what he means.
