Ika wonders who her dormmate is. Jane Smith. This is a foreign name, it's making her curious.

She notices Shinozuka doesn't have a dormmate yet, and points it out to him :
"Oh, it looks like you are alone for now."

Jane raises an eyebrow.
"Ika? Huh that's a cool name I guess their my room mate...I've never actually had a room mate before. "

Kaoru squints at the list from the back. His face lights up with a grin as he turns to his new roommate. "Hey, Gou, look at that! We're roommate, dorm 1-1."

"Hah, I'm glad you're happy about it too."

Colette, looking at the dorm assignments, whispers to herself.

"Hey, that means I can do alone stuff and have alone time, yay. It'll be quiet, which is a good thing. And no-one can object when I bring bugs in."

"Being alone does have its perks. Well then, I'll go check my room. See you Shinozuka."

Ika, not having heard Jane mentioning her name, heads to the dorm 1-2, not before waving goodbye at Shinozuka.

Gou appears next to Colette.
"So, you're with Sayako-chan, Colette? You're in good hands!"

"O-oh! Do you know her?"

Shinozuka waves back, "See you around!" When she moves out of sight he sighs and taps his glasses, "Or I won't, but you will," he says to himself. He heads off to his dorm and checks the time.
